Surgery 10th feb. Just had my 1st pureed stage food. Had some ready brek. Didnt think I would ever feel full and was worrying that it would'nt work for me but I am over the moon that after a few spoons I actually felt full lol. Feeling full, satisfied and very happy.

Have you had headaches with your diet? I'm on Day 3 and my headaches started yesterday. Carb withdrawal I think. Holy cow I'm so hungry that the dog food is starting to smell appealing! (Not really, just being dramatic. [emoji23])

Hi all! I am hoping all will be done and approved so I'm ready for surgery in Spring -- I'm thinking March. My insurance is proving to be really good...no required weight loss period but my surgeon wants me to drop at least 5% of my weight before the surgery. I'm halfway to reaching that goal. I have to meet with the NUT twice, appts one month apart. Also required to see the psych 3 times...initial consult, back for testing, then final visit to go over results. If all is well after that then my surgeon will schedule my surgery date. I couldn't get that first appt with the psych until mid Dec.
