Sorry just saw this! I was able to eat solids after the scope. Still felt a bit quesy but that was most likely due to the fact that I really hadn't eaten much.

I am about 3 months out and I am extremely sensitive to Fats and Sugar. Even the slightest bit of oil will send me to the bathroom causing me to throw up! From what my doc. said everyone is different.

My chest didn't hurt I just kept throwing up. My doc took before and after pics of my scope and dilation and said no wonder I kept throwing up!

Good point! I can not drink milk following this surgery so there may be lactose in it.

Hello fellow Bypassers. This evening before my VFW Auxiliary Meeting I went to our local Rutter's Convenience Store and got the sugar free French vanilla cappachino. Figured it would be a win win for me since I am now on puréed and at that point I was hungry. I dumped for the first time today and it sucked! Hot flashes, red face, emergency running to bathroom diarrhea (sorry tmi!) and I even vomited! Did anyone else experience this with sugar free products before?

Hi Carrie I just posted a feed about this I am about two weeks out with the same issue no pain just always nautious. My doc previously prescribed me Zofran which didn't do anything for me but everyone is different. I called the doc when the nausea wouldn't go away and he prescribed me phenergan which is much better then Zofran but it makes you sleepy. I am hoping it goes away soon! I hope yours goes away soon!

Thank you! Glad to know I'm not the only one with horrible nausea. I hope your pain and nausea get better. Luckily my pain isn't too bad.

Hello everyone! So I am about two weeks post op and continue to have terrible nausea. Saw my doc yesterday and he prescribed a different anti nausea med fenergen and assured me that this will pass in time. Anyone else have difficulty with nausea and if so when did it end?
