I know I'm so pumped! I just got my suregery done yesterday, I spent the night at the hospital and just got home a few hours ago. I was SO nervous at first but I barely remember anything after getting the sedative before the anasthesia, while I was filled with morphine I didn't have much pain, now that I'm home I'm pretty sore, but everything seems to be ok, your day is today right???? Good luck, I know you'll do great, its not too bad

Aww I'm so sorry!!!!! Just hang in there and I'm sure everything will be ok, I hope your mouth gets better! I just got home from the hospital, I'm pretty sore now that I'm off the morphine, that stuff was a god send ahahhaha. I'll put up some pics after I can walk abound a little more. Keep in touch and my thoughts are with you sweetie!!!!!!

Hey there how is everything going!!? I just got home from the hospital this afternoon, I'm pretty sore but its nice to be back in my bed. Last night all night nurses kept coming into my room to give me all sorts of anti-nausea shots and morphine in my IV. Right now I'm starting to get really itchy too. Are your incisions really itchy as well??

Hey there!!! Just checking in to see how your surgery went!!! I spent last night in the hospital, I was pretty comfortable with the morphine drip, hahaha, I'm on liquid percoset now and it doesn't really compare to the morphine, I'm pretty sore, and itchy, but I barely have any gas so thats good. Let me know how your doing!!

Hey there! Just checking in to see how everything is going!! I was banded yesterday, I spent the night in the hospital and got home this afternoon. I'm pretty sore and itchy, but not a lot of gas pain, which is good, I'm not even hungry! Keep me posted!

Yeah I'm alright, I've been pretty much home bound too. I started school yesterday, the classes are really long since its summer courses. Sitting in that chair for 5 hours with one break was AWFUL! I think everyone in my class thinks I'm pregnant because my belly has always stuck out (you know, from being fat haha) but now its even more since its still swollen, and the insicions are still very very sore and tender, so I was sitting there holding my swollen belly moaning all day. Hahaha. I could really go for some solid food right now. I've been on the verge of tears thinking about not having pizza again. Right now I know is the hardest, I'm still sore and healing my insicions, yet at the same time barely getting more than 200 calories a day in so I have no energy. I can't wait to eat!!!!!!

Congrats!!! I finished all my testing and such and now I have a date! Its May 29th! I'm so excited but really nervous. There are so many of my friends that would be wierded out by all this, I'm not sure how to tell them. Good luck with all your testing and keep me posted

yup I have to arrive at 8:30 and have surgery at 10:30!! I do have to do a pre-op diet, ehhhh.... I start it on the 19th, and its just liquids

I know me too! I'm so excited, at this point I'm just nervous about telling people, only 2 friends and my mom know at this point, I really don't want to have to talk about it to anyone else, I think when I tell people I'll be really blunt about it, "I've been fat forever and I'm gaining more and more weight so I'm going to have my stomach banded to help me control my food intake." If anyone has anything to say after that I'll be like, "thanks for your opinion but I've made my decison." Hmmm... sounds like a plan! How is everything with your family and such???

Oh my god!!! The same thing just happened to me!!!! I've been on and off with the same guy for almost 5 years. He is my best friend but he just started dating someone else, a senior in highschool with a great bod. He is known to like girls of all sizes, but its just been really hard on me, I pretty much could say everything you said about your situation and it would pertain to mine. He is still my best friend, but now it is super platonic (not used to that lol) and it KILLS me to hear him talking about her or to have him give up MOST of his time with me to be with her. Feel free to contact me WHENEVER with WHATEVER!!!! Were in similar situations with more than one thing!!!

Everything went pretty well, I had a lot of visitors and was pretty doped up the whole time. I just started having gas pains tonight. I had to get up and walk around and I was burping like crazy. I've been finding that a big ice pack helps with the soreness and the itchyness. Ugh I feel so bloated though lol, I've put on weight since before surgery!!! Only like a pound or too, but right now I'm just trying to concentrate on being comfortable and healing and such. I hope your doing great and I can't wait until we start loosing some serious pounds! hahaa congrats again!

Haha thats funny they just gave me all that info today too!!!!!! I'm not sure what time I have to be there, they gave me the time of 10:00 am so I'm not sure if that is what time to be there or actually surgery. I'm so excited but really nervous too! I've never had surgery before, I'm sure I'll get even more nervous as the day approches. I have my next consultation on Monday the 12th, where I'm sure I'll learn more, I have to make a list of all the questions I have, I also have to go to the hospital on the 22nd for testing and such. Keep me posted on everything!!

Hey there!!! I hope everything went well yesterday and your resting and healing comfortably now!!!! The only real problems I've been having are getting up if I've been lying down, and sneezing and coughing KILL!!!! Let me know how everything went!!!! Congrats!
