I had a gastric bypass in November 2016, lost 70pounds and kept it for about 2.5 years until I fell and broke the hip. Since than I gained about 25 pounds. Now I am trying to loose weight, but nothing happens. Any suggestion.

I am 3 months post op and always feel hunger. Trying to eat small portions 4-5 times a day. My problem is to consume enough Water. Does anyone feel hunger?

Do not worry, I lost 11 pounds as well on 2 weeks liquid diet and the doctor said it is good. After the surgery I was losing 2-3 pounds a day, when I moved to the purée stage, weight loss went down, was losing 1 pound a day. Overall for 3.5 months I lost 44 pounds.

And good luck! I am 3 months after the surgery and feeling great, best decision ever!

Try vitamin patches, you can buy them in the BariatricPal Store, I have Multivitamins, B12 and D3, feeling great!

That was my problem, still have it, not every day, though

It is individually, for some people yes.

Do not worry, I had the same, just be patient and sip Water every 5-10 minutes.

It happened, after certain time the weight will go down

I was sleeved on 11/16/16 and experience the same thing. Do not be encouraged, you are doing great! First pounds come off easier, after first 15-20 pounds which is more Water, you loose much slower, it is better for your health and more steady loss. As long as you weight goes down, you can be on stall and than it will jump down more. Be patient. Good luck!

I am 2 months post-op, so far doing ok, lost 38 pounds since started 2 weeks pre-op liquid diet.

HW 241, CW 209, but always constipated, does anyone have any suggestion?

I use premium Protein, love it. I also use Raw Organic Protein, Garden for life from Whole Foods. I have unflavored which I just add to my food and also vanilla which is great as well.

I am one month after, total loss 26 pounds, since the day of the surgery lost only 20 pounds and now losing only 1 pound a week. Trying not to think about it and waiting my time.

Only 6 days after the surgery and already on purée stage! You are doing great! I made soups: fish Soup, mushroom Soup, you can have egg salad, tuna salad. I also made meatballs. You can have a lot of varieties, just make sure your food has Protein. Let me know which recipe will interest you, I will send to you.

#robailey77, I am also about 4 weeks post op, I drink Tomato juice and also V8 as well. The program I am in suggests to have both.

THANK YOU everyone for such large and overall super supportive responses! I know I have a 100% chance of regaining anything I lose. Proven Fact. I am trying to wrap my head around the changes to come, but I think the ones I know about are better than what is currently in front of me.

Losing a bit on the Pre-op, cut my coffee way down-my soul is crying at that but I DO feel better!

Wed is the day! I wish I could take off on Tuesday, but we are down 2 people in my department. It is already going to be nuts. Wed Wed Wed.

My friend is going with me and staying with me that night when they send me home that night. The next morning she will leave, and I will be alone until my high school son comes home from early release. I had wanted my exH to come over, but since I rejected him again on his 25th request to get back together, he is feeling butt hurt. When I can drive a few days later, going to Mom's in Dallas for xmass.

@annanim, I understand that your father worries about you, we all want the best for our children, but the decision is yours and you have to decide what is best for you. I am almost 62 years old, have diabetes, BP, did the sleeve on 11/16. We all have our doubts and worries, but I look at the people who had the procedure 3-4 years already and the results are great. So read, think and decide. Do not forget, you are doing this for yourself, not for somebody.

I had a surgery 2 days after, on 11/16, my highest weight was 247, day of the surgery 236 and current weight (weigh myself last Saturday) 223. You are doing great! I was feeling great, but for the past week I feel very sluggish and lightheaded, do not feel good at all.
