From what I know . You should be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks, then on a pureed diet for 2 weeks b4 you start eating solids. You need to keep in mind that your stomach is not the same size as prior to your procedure . Its actually smaller now and you can cause damage to your self and stomach.

I weight 228 and I am having the sleeve done on Jan 30th. Before I started the process I weigh 245 and that was in June . I went for the seminar in July and my first actual appt was in August when I was weigh in at 236.6 and now I weight 228.6 plus I'm doing it for health reasons despite trying to lose weight on my own.

My surgery is on Jan 30th and I know I will need to be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks prior to my surgery then once home 2 weeks liquid then 2 weeks pureed diet then after slowly back to solid foods. I know all surgeons are different.

I am having my surgery on Jan 30th and I want to be prepared with what I will need for dry lips , dry skin and possible issues with bowel movements. I'm sure my surgeon will tell me but I would just like to see what others have used . Thank you
Jessica
