  1. got a NSV

    About 12yrs ago i was in my girlfriends wedding. I paid over $300 for this dress, but i didn't mind because it was purple and i was going to get it altered, To wear again. Well i never did. So, i put it on the other night and it fit again. So now i'm gong to get it shortened and make my husband take me out to dinner. I could see it in his eyes that he won't mind! gotta love these NSV.:biggrin:


  2. Congrats! Once the "racing" gets in your blood...it doesn't come out. 2.5 miles is nothing to be shy about...that is a long distance. Just let the pride keep builiding in you and pretty soon those 2.5 miles will turn into whatever you want it to be! Be proud!

    I am proud I did it. And it's a great feeling to know i can walk that long of a distance. Looking to do more.


  3. This weekend me and my husband went to oklahoma to walk in the trial of tears walk. It is had every year to commemorate the walk of the choctaw people. check this out.

    I know it was only 2 1/2 mile but three months ago i would not have been able to walk it. It was so cool seeing all those people walking. I'll post pictures in my profile. After i finish i was thinking i would like to do more walks. But living in a little hick town, I think it would be hard finding one. alest one thats not 2hours away. I guess i'll just surf the net to find one. wish me luck. :(

  4. I'm committing to at least 20 hours of exercise in April...I just order the AB Rocket, looking forward to it getting here. Also walking the track and climbing the stair at the high school football field, and doing the bike at night. I also have a weight goal of getting to 200 by May 8th, going on vacation then.   6. I'm in the fourth week, i'm reguired to have 1/2 cup for food 3 meals a day and four hours apart. I had 1 scambled egg when cooked it measure to 1/2 cup. for lunch yesterday i had chicken salad and canned peaches, 1/4 cup of each. They told me i can have crackers with the chicken salad. But i didn't feel to good after eating them with it, so i'll skip them today too see how it goes. dinner was mashed potatoes and chicken salad.

    I go for my first fill on Thursday March 13. I'm a little worried, people have told me that I would have to start drink liquids agian. Have to ask my doctor to be sure. I HOPE NOT..... Been waiting for st. patricks day, going to miss not having corned beef and cabbage.
