So I went thru true results to have made lapband done. I'm only 2 months post op and received an email that they are permanently closing but my surgeon will still be seeing me. I'm just nervous I won't be able to afford it. They offices are closed for the holidays but as soon as they reopen I'm calling to find out so I know what to expect and making one last fill appointment with True results before they shit their doors. Just irritated that this is happening. Hoping for the best LapBand ~ November 1, 2016

@@cz.99 Dr. Steven Thomas is my dr. So my first visits after surgery for 90 days are free. After February it will cost me. I have no idea how much though. LapBand ~ November 1, 2016

Well my son just got over this nasty stomach bug and gave it to me.... I'm miserable. I can't throw up and all I do is dry heave. My whole body hurts. I hope it's gone soon. I pray my band doesn't slip LapBand ~ November 1, 2016

I'm STARVING!!! I eat mostly low carb not every single day but most days. No weight loss, no restriction, ticks me off because I want a CHICK FIL A sandwich and fries so freaking bad!! I'm beyond ready for this weight to start falling off before I totally fall off the wagon. Its 6:30am and I'm hungry! @@weneebug I to have that same issue. Long story short I sold a house that was left to me and used that to pay for my surgery. My husband was mad so I decided not to have the surgery and save the money. Then once the house sold HE brought it up that I should do it. Now after the fact he likes to say I should have just done the pre op diet of liquid and not have paid for the surgery. I explain how that is not meant for long term and still I get it thrown in my face one day and then he's supportive the next LapBand ~ November 1, 2016

If I have my Protein shake in my coffee I sip until noon and then I'm good. If I drink it fast it makes me feel overly full and miserable LapBand ~ November 1, 2016

I haven't counted my carbs honestly. I think I should but I am a pro at low carb until my willpower gives out and that's why I got the band. LapBand ~ November 1, 2016

I've only had my band for a little over a month now so I figured that was why. I'm anxious to feel restriction and feel like I have a band. My weight loss hasn't budged in almost 2 weeks now. Time and patience I suppose. I hope all goes well with your band and you don't have to have it removed LapBand ~ November 1, 2016

Ok so you didn't have symptoms just no restriction. My band is a 10cc band and I have 4cc now but no restriction and fear that I'm eating to much or not chewing good enough by accident.

How do you know when your esophagus is dilated? Do you need test to see that? I'm new to the band and have no restriction really so I'm just curious. LapBand ~ November 1, 2016
