KC1278 got a reaction from tlola84 in Travel and weight loss after Gastric Sleeve Surgery
I can tell you that when I eat too much it hurts. I have never had to run to a restroom or been sick, but you do get really full fast. I have still not had any alcohol and I am now at 9 weeks post sleeve. My nutritionist said wait 6 mos to a year, I am sure you will do great

Good Morning,
I was sleeved Dec 21, 2016 and went on a cruise Jan 15, 2017. I did not have any trouble. I did bring Protein Shakes with me and ate mostly softer foods. No problems as long as you watch what you are eating
Good Luck to you!

KC1278 got a reaction from DopeIP in It's done...
I had my surgery on Dec 21st. Outpatient so home the same day. The first night was HORRIBLE because of the gas pains. I was really good about sleeping for 2 hours and getting up to walk. After that first night, all the pain or should I call it discomfort compared to night 1 has been tolerable.
I am drinking my Protein shakes and broth. Getting in 60 grams of Protein a day and my 60 ozs of Water.
So excited for my journey and happy to have found people that are st the same stage as I am.
I do feel hungry, could be mental, but Water or Protein seems to satisfy for now.
