Can you please tell me your starting weight,age and heightI have fibro as well and I chose sleeve. I had surgery on the 2nd and I have had a week with only mild aches and pains. Life is so much more manageable right now. Fingers crossed that this continues! Good luck and keep us updated on your journey!

My my surgeon said I can have any 3 it's my choice to anyone he won't do is the bandI picked the sleeve because I was BMI 40 (low end of insurance approval weight) and I do not have any other health problems. People with GERD or diabetes often do better with RNY. People who are super morbidly obese sometimes choose the DS because they lose more, very quickly at the beginning.
Oh, I just had my surgery on Halloween and I am doing great!
Your surgeon can go over the options with you to decide what's best for you.
