  1. That's crazy.... He has no clue how you feel I pushed having my surgery years ago because of my parents my mother had a bad experience with the gastric bypass. Since then I've worked out, got a personal trainer, used diet pills I'll lose 20 to 30 pounds but it just comes back! Now I'm 34 like what a waste of time.... So I'm going for it! I feel you should too! We only live once and it's your life do what makes you happy.
  2. I think you made the right decision, I'm sitting here holding off on my last class because I want surgery in January. I already have to maintain my weight during the holidays but I couldn't imagine doing a fast right now... you're a champ!
  3. Thanks for your replies, I find myswlf wondering will I miss this body... Its crazy tho I never really realize my size until I see a picture. But I see all of your points. Doing the things I enjoy like bike riding, skating, dancing would be a lot easier once I lose this weight. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using the BariatricPal App

  5. Do you ever miss the old you??? The cubby person you once were? Because I still see the slender me when I think of myself and when I look in the mirror it's the pictures that kill me! I'm like wait a minute who's that fat girl or when I see my shadow and I'm like damn....... That's all me! but once it's gone do you miss it? like right now I can use my fat arm as a comfy pillow and my thighs make great warmth for my hands on cold nights and football games... lol but seriously do you look at pictures and miss the old you?
  6. Yes and No... I have a separate Instagram with my Pre Op plans I just started it today, but I haven't told all my close friends and family only a few know. Once I have it done if they ask I'll be honest about it.
  7. Join the club..... I've been feeling the same way, everything in my life was going crazy and the one thing I thought I could control was my weight. Well that didn't happen so here I am.... Trust me we'll get it together

  11. he's gonna have to deal with it {condoms}... I have to focus on myself right now He can enjoy making love to you while wearing a condom, but if he won't wear one and must feel skin, tell him to use his hands (he doesn't need latex gloves for that). lol I won't mind watching that, thanks for the idea you don't get any safer then that plus it sounds fun....
  12. he's gonna have to deal with it {condoms}... I have to focus on myself right now
  13. I track mine as well so I think I'll be fine safety first tho
  14. Your parents had this discussion with you? lol
  15. Okay I think I'll just grab some Magnums.... I don't want to risk getting pregnant but I like to have a good time!!! He just gotta deal with it
  16. My surgeon said most people start having sex again after one week, we waited almost 2 because my stomach was all bruised up (my surgeon said I bruise easily) and I couldn't lie on either side before then. I had my surgery on Halloween and still don't like the idea of my husband's weight on me. He isn't fat but he is 200 pounds. What works for us is spooning. I can rest on my good side (the right side, most of us have a large incision on the left where they remove the stomach) and I don't have to move too much or twist at all. And no weight on me. Thanks I knew there was a way around it : )
  17. Same here @Siyaa Ela I was going to get the gastric bypass 5 years ago and I listen to my parents and nothing really changed so now I'm here... So yes I'm done!!! Regardless how anyone feels I need to do what makes me happy and I want my outside to match my inside : )
  18. To tell or not to Tell that is the question..... I've told my fiancé, sister and of course my son, then my best friend and 2 co workers. I will let others know after its done, my parents are just to judgmental and I'm 34 I have to do what's best for me. YOLO When it's done I'll tell my parents but I already know what their reaction will be....
  19. Well Good Morning Sunshine : ) Trust me I don't know a female that would complain
  20. Thanks for your reply @@theantichick you gave me a lot to think about... I'm frisky so I know I have to scale back a bit and play it safe Now I'm thinking of ways to get around the tender belly... lol
