  5. I chose the sleeve mainly because of my medications. I take medications for depression and anxiety and it would have been too much for me to find a balance in the dosages. I've been through those changes and they are not fun mentally. I'm happy with my decision. Good luck making yours. Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App

  10. I am now 4 months post op and know exactly how you feel. Especially when I was approved to eat solid foods I was so excited. Then when I couldn't finish my plate I started to doubt the choice I had made. I didn't realize how much food meant to me either. But I can tell you it does get better. All the previous posts got it right. Especially being able to talk to someone in a group or one on one is very important. People who have been there and understand. Post op depression is real! But I can say I made the right choice for my health. You can get get through it! Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App

  18. agree with Jamie, Check out Dr. Matthew Weiner's videos. He says there is no way to predict how fast or how much someone will lose because so much is dependent on factors outside your control. he has had super compliant patients who lose slowly and ones who aren't compliant at all lose fast. You aren't slow. You are losing at the same rate as me (faster actually), RNY and my dr's office thinks I'm fast and I'm super compliant, exercise and the whole 9 yards. I use patch vitamins by the way. you should try them. Thanks for the advice on the Vitamin Patches. I'm going to look into them. The chewables are just awful ???? 21. HW: 405 SW: 370 CW: 325 I was sleeved 9/26/16. I just had my 4 month post op appointment with my surgeon and he was pretty disappointed with the amount of weight I had lost. I don't know how to feel about this because I have done what I am supposed to do ( except for taking the Vitamins like I'm supposed to. They do not sit well in my stomach). I am even going to the gym and my mobility is still limited. I fit back in clothes I haven't worn in ages. I have way more energy. I guess his disappointment just threw me back into reality that I still have a long way to go and maybe I need to work a bit harder. Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App
