  1. I have my VSG booked for next month; from the general research I've done and from what my surgeon says, WLS is a good solution for the uncontrolled weight gain, even though it's hormonal. I know everyone's journey is different, but are there any women with PCOS who have WLS success stories you'd be willing to share? I'm very nervous that I will do this serious surgery and it won't work, even if I do everything right. I'm so tired of gaining weight, though, and I need to get ahead of it before it gets totally out of control.

Thanks in advance for sharing your stories with me!

I have pcos,im hoping for good results.

  2. So I have my surgery on 12/29/2016 and I am in my 1000 calorie diet. The first 2 days I was like OMG I need a cheeseburger I am so hungry and then my husband was like can u pick me up some Burger King. I go there and yes I ate 1 nugget but I really wanted a cheeseburger. But I am hanging in there and getting ready for this 3 day liquid diet. That's what I am scared of, does anybody have any suggestions on how to make it through these 3 days of liquids.< /p>

Chew on things you like just for taste an spit it out. Its gotten me through my last 1st week ugh.

  3. I'm having my surgery done on the 3rd & currently on a liquid diet as well. It's challenging indeed, even though my surgeon allows me to eat 800-1000 calories a day, I'm trying my hardest to stick to just liquids. I definitely made sure I had something to do every day, to keep me extra busy, until the 3rd...it's helping a lot! lmao

This is hard as hell honestly im use to eating a lil something. This broth an Jello driving me. I chew chips an spit them out just to have a taste.

  4. Just finished the liquids. Had my surgery Tuesday. The liquids were VERY difficult. A few times I had small bites of food. But I can tell you this. Those cravings and hunger pains are GONE post op. Any time I felt hungry I had broth or Jell-O. As much as I wanted!

Thats what im doing everytime i feel hungry. Thanks for the update
