  1. My daughter is allergic to adhesives. Now when she goes to camp, I pack non- adhesive bandages (coban) for her, but when she was little we'd occasionally get a well- meaning preschool teacher sticking a bandaid on her knee or elbow. It would leave a bandaid- shaped scar that would last a year. It wouldn't even tan.

However, the scars did fade. I'm just letting you know that this might last a while, but it will get better.

  3. Yup. It all goes back to normal for most folks.

No pain, just feelings of fullness after a cup or so of food. And you will likely be able to eat anything - candy, Cookies, cake, fast food, breads, fried stuff... all with no ill effects.

Some folks do get lucky and still have a negative reaction to eating the bad stuff, but that doesn't seem to be something you can count on happening for sure.

That's why it is sooooo important to get your new healthy eating habits established and rock solid before the first year is out, because chances are very high that you will have no issues eating anything after that. The only thing that will save you and make sure you have continued long-term success is relearning how to eat and what to eat now.

Thank you everyone for the te assurance. I' think my struggle had been kind of well a struggle with dealing with if I want to have more. Or enough to feel full bc the uncomfortableness. But you are right establishing good eating habits should be something I focus on. I'm excited about that.

  4. I still have my Drain in, had sleeve surgery Friday morning. The pain has been unreal. My discharge has turned from light fruit punch color to an oily dark green. Seeing Dr in the morning. Also running a fever of 100.3. Been miserable. Sipping on Water, Gatorade, herbal tea and bone broth. Taking Percocet 10 trying to keep the pain under control and Gas X.

That sounds terrible. Did you do an extant to make sure there was no leakage? I hope everything turns out ok.

  5. @shelterdog It is kinda silly. I suppose as is this thread. I did see this post got a lot of attention. I've had a lot of PMs but no gum doesn't give me gas. It helps the ice pops help more than anything I love jell-O I though about getting like a baby toy for teething. I get lock jaw a lot. So my jaw needs to chomp or move I' do sometimes end up chewing on the wooden stick from the ice pop
