  1. Hello everyone, Warning beware of jealous people in your life. So my now ex but also my daughters father has as I feel always tried to sabotage me. I gained close to 100 pounds in the last 6 years since I've been with him had a baby got super comfortable and let myself go. Well since my surgery and before he was never with my lifestyle change he would bring fast food and candy into the house, he didn't work out with me on a regular basis (and mind u he is athletic and a boxer) there was no genuine encouragement nor support. He was and is a serial cheater. He told a girl he cheated on me with about me getting the surgery before i even had it and just recently told another woman i believed to be a friend but he was sleeping with her too that I had the surgery and now I think i'm better than ppl and they laughed about how I'm still big and my body gone be a mess (I seen the messages) the disrespect is at an all time high. Bottom line is I am better than what they obviously thought of me. This change has been the best thing that has ever happened to me, I'm happy about life again, I see the changes in me mentally, spiritually, and physically. I'm looking forward to the future and learning not to settle or accept anything I'm discovering my worth and now I'm glad I can close that chapter in my life and looking forward to my journey and finding someone new that sees the Goddess in me

down 83 lbs and not stopping

Your journey (I'm 2months out) ..it humbles you and gives you clearer perspective of what you want, deserve and need for your life..Live for your daughter..the healthier you are..the happier she is.I

  2. I'm a truck driver in Australia and it's a very physical job some of the time.. it's not all about being a steering wheel attendant. I took two weeks off and was in no pain what so ever. I just couldn't jump on and off the truck or lift over 10-15kgs ( I think) for 6 weeks although some times I had too...

I found the first week back I had some fatigue but not to bad.

From about 3-4 weeks post I forgot I had, had surgery.. unless I ate lol...

I could of gone back earlier but it was good to take a bit extra time off ..I had no pain or discomfort from day 1 after surgery.

  3. I took 3wks..could've went back sooner due to no pain just fatigue..only challenge is to remember to pack your plan when you leave so you won't starve or fall off your plan making unhealthy choices. I was eligible for FMLA but also considered my job down time to make the process easier for everyone..If you were on track in pre you'll do great..good luck to you.

Do you have the Bariatric Patient card? If not, you should get one and keep it with you whenever you dine out. I've never been told I can't order from the kids menu or pay the kids price at a buffet.

@@Kaylamh When she and i got LB surg years ago they gave us a card with all the information about our band... Not sure if they do that for the other WLS.
For the sleeve I received a credit card size card for my wallet and a key chain card as well as a discount coupon code for an alert Bracelet ( cheaper through Amazon)...

  8. Hate you had to go through that and even if it was the restaurants policy.1.it should have been told to you by the waiter or waitress when you ordered ..that way you could have made that decision upon ordering...2. If it was not information given before charge ..the manager should have taken it off at that time ..you really don't know who reads or listens to a complain..as manager he/she should have considered his restaurant n staff training as a whole and not just a customer complaint...That could have played out to benefit both...????

  9. I had a two week stall and only 7wks out but I think when my food phase changed a stall appeared BUT I want to lose at a pace I can build up too. I am not much of a physically person..exercise and such but since surgery I have increased activity, park farther from work and stores, and even do more activities from the kids. My stalls are not a worry for me because I haven't been a scale obsessed person but my inches and moving down in clothes sizes. All good in this neighborhood. :D

  10. Amazing to see someone doing so well so far out...I'm only 7wks and to see the long term effect is beautiful.. You are Amazing :D..
