I had one caffeine coffee/tea restriction but I drink neither.. So I think one is okay. I couldn't poop for 3 days my dietician told me to add Water the same as apple juice and sip since I told her apple cider makese move on normal occasions..if you dilute it and limit it I guess it is okay.. Im trying to think about all that also??? Sleeved November 9th..I'm also slow at losing but Im 47yrs and I assume that's how its going to be and I'm okay with that but what is the diet of most of you to keep a steady weight lose (healthy) because I was told your stomach can stretch and being in the same state I was in before the procedure is not an option for me..at least not for the next 47yrs ???? Congrats and welcome to the life journey..watch a u tube video to see what they will be doing..it helped me realize how important it was to follow the plan afterwards to heal..But you'll do great because you made a choice for your life that is more than just a fly by night decision..pray for a healthy recovery???? I hate we have to get the negative from people..we all have..but those same people either understand and won't take the journey or don't understand and haven't googled or research our feelings and choice and love us regardless without the negative...My youngest sister/bff , my daughter and 2. Co workers know ( in which one has been giving me the cold shoulder since I told her..she was supposed to go thru this with me but bailed n then was surprised I was still meeting and counseling) Some don't understand this was deep thought, research and prayer for 2yrs for me..I have NEVER else ted to have a procedure EVER done to me that wasn't necessary for my life...I know this was and still is for a happy, healthy life for me...It seems kinda out of body experience still for me (November 9th sleeve) but I have NO regrets for bettering my lifestyle..This site helped me more than anything..the journey people are taking makes it realistic for me..all the bumps and brusies and beauties of it...I needed my body to help me make good choices because my mind wasn't.. Hi???? I also felt this way..258 highest weight ,5'4 and half..yes half????..and I thought about my decision for 2yrs..researched, fought with myself and everything..my children are 20,12,10 and 9 and I'm 47 and was giving up on doing anything with them which is theost active times of their lives...I chose the gastric sleeve on Nove 9th and I was a roller coaster before. That time but I have no regrets..of course I doubt myself but everyday I find ways to beat the negative and it all works out???? I will not lie ..its hard..because we are programmed to eat on the run and just for fun so to get out of running errands and stopping to feast will be hard but it gets easier...I'm in the pureed phase of post op..so I still cook for my kids and guess what.. I puree the dinner I fix and kids say gross n laugh but not bad..so you will fill the change in you and LOVE that journey....Hopefully your decision either way ..surgery or not... Helps you and you don't wait until you're my. age..but this way I got another 47yrs to get out and start living ???????? This site helped me before, on and during this journey..reading other peoples ups and downs help me because I don't have a big support base around me. I was told to start PPI like protonix right away for 3 months to help with gerd..never had it before but that was one effect of procedure, make sure you are sitting up drinking ( not leaning or slouched), room temp or warm worked better for me ( cold except Protein shakes) hurt for some reason..take it slow and she is right I'm 11 days post op and these glue stitches is itchy..ughhh????
