  1. Awesome results, Ericka! I really should start working out...what have you been doing? Walking, running?
  2. feel free to use anything from my blog (link below)!
  3. i'm 5 weeks out, have had 3 fills (6.5cc's in a 10cc band) and i have no restriction, always hungry - no pb-ing...nada. I can eat just about anything - all Proteins including steak. I have not yet tested Pasta, rice or bread but yesterday I went out for thai and ate an entire order of red curry chicken and two spring rolls with no problem and afterwards was still hungry so had a few pieces of sugarfree candy and was STILL hungry!!! i really wonder if i got a "dud" band...but then I have hope that "maybe" my next fill will put me at restriction. i really am a bit scared that i'll max out my band and not feel restriction and there goes $17.5K (self-pay) down the drain. Ugh. Does everyone go through this? I keep reading about folks who have restriction at 3 or 4cc's in their 10cc band. I am so jealous!
  4. i've had 3 fills, am at 6.5cc's in my 10cc band and i have not pb'd yet - and i eat chicken, fish, steak...all with no problems. i chew my food very well - and i don't drink while i eat or after. i do not eat pasta or bread or rice - but i don't miss them. i don't feel like i've given anything up.
  5. agreed with the poster above - as long as you feel ok, i wouldn't worry. it's all about how you are feeling - and it's a great thing that you were good and blended it.
  6. I'm not sure what it stands for - but I know it means to throw up your food. At least I hope that's what it means - or else I've been wrong for a long time!
  7. I'm sooo jealous. I almost want to PB or "slime" just so I know that I really have a band in me!!!
  8. Hello - an update from me - banded 3/4...no pre-op diet. lost 21 lbs so far...trudging along!
  9. i've have had 3 fills (6.5cc's in a 10cc band) and still am not restricted. No PBing, no sliming...and almost want it to happen so I know the band is working! for those of you who are at restriction, how many cc's do you have in what size band?
  10. i don't think there is any rule - but i traveled fine with no problems the week after surgery for business.
  11. it took me about a week before i did...but now i sleep on my right side, left side, backside, frontside! (banded 3/4/08)
  12. I'm definitely going to try it and post about it in my blog. Crab meat...bay shrimp...cheeeeeseeeee!!!! Oooh my!
  13. Hahaha - now that I think about ... yes - a little creepy is putting it lightly!
  14. Hi Destynee!!! No way - that's sooo fantastic! The dill one is AMAZING! It melts in your mouth like pure bliss. You will love it - ahhh - I want it right now! I'm heading back to TJ's this weekend and am going to stock up on them. I didn't see the Salmon Belle Mer but I'm going to look for it.
  15. congrats - before you know it you'll be at goal!
  16. Hello all of you beautiful (and handsome) bandsters! Question for those of you who have a 10cc band. How many cc's did you have put in until you were at restriction...and not just a little restriction - but "wow - i now know what restriction really means" restriction? I just had my 3rd fill and am at 6.5cc's on my 10cc band and do not yet feel like I'm in the "green". I know everyone is different but just looking to get some feedback from others. Thanks in advance. Lise the Loser Lise The Loser’s Weblog
