What was your starting weight if you don't mind me asking? Congrats to you!

I developed an ulcer on my incision line after surgery, about 3 weeks after surgery. It was extremely painful and I was in regret mode for a long time!! It took many weeks to heal and lots of medication but it's better now. Hang in there!

I could drink milk just fine before so this has come as such a shock to me. And is extremely painful. I'm going to try lactose free milk tomorrow and pray that works!

I'm 4 1/2 weeks out from surgery and my stomach hurts all the time. No matter what I eat, it starts hurting and I end up in the bathroom all day. Most people have issues with Constipation but no me!! It's the opposite. I'm drinking plain Water and getting my Protein in. I'm not eating sugars or fatty food. Someone please help!

I hit a stall at 3 weeks post op and I've been at this stall for a week and a half now! I'm eating my Protein and drinking tons of Water like the Dr said and I even upped my walking time. When I weigh, the scale will go down a pound and then up a pound. I just don't get what I'm doing wrong. Why am I not losing weight? It's so depressing.

I had my bypass Nov 7th and I have hit a stall. It's so depressing because I'm doing all the same things I did at the beginning and nothing is happening I have heard this happens to everyone but I truly hope it passes soon!

Thanks for the encouragement and nice words. I'm not trying to compare myself to others, I just wanted to make sure I'm doing what I'm supposed to and staying on the "average" track. I'm still learning how to eat and drink after surgery so I just wanted to get other people opinions on how the weight will far off.

I am now two weeks post op and I have lost 18lbs so far. Is that a good amount or should I be losing more, faster???

How often does everyone eat? Example- every 2 hours, 3 hours? I'm trying to figure out how to eat with this new stomach. Lol

I feel ya! I want to chew something so bad. Lol..... Feel the crunch of food. It's been 8 days since surgery and I have lost 11lbs so far so that at least helps a little

Luckily I have never liked the taste of coffee so that helps but I have four young sons ages 4-7 so it's no fun smelling all that yummy food they want to eat all the time. Lol. I'm sure it will get easier as I heal. Between the pain meds, blood thinner shots, trying to walk each day, drink enough Water, and eat on time... it's quite the process.

My incisions look great but they are sore and are starting to itch.

Yes, I've been doing great on the liquid diet although it's not too fun watching your husband and 4 boys get to eat anything they want. Lol.. I'm just trying to keep my eye on the prize.

Tomorrow is day 5 of my pre surgery liquid diet. Monday the 7th at 9:30am is my scheduled bypass surgery day. I'm so scared and nervous! I'm scared of the possible pain from surgery and nervous I won't succeed in losing the weight.
