So much inspiration tonite (This morning)! I have had chronic pain for many years with osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. I was able to lose 75 lb on my own several years ago and hv kept it off. Due to pain and fatigue unable to continue losing. This will be my shot at a better life too. It makes me so happy to hear the health related success that so many of you have had. I'm looking forward to some as well!!

That was a serious bash over someone trying an alternative product. In my opinion it's a great idea to look for healthy alternatives. Ive been filling down time enjoying my online hunt! It's kind of exciting to find one that just might work for YOU. And at the end of the day who do you hv to answer to?
Good luck! I hv arthritis and fibro too (def didn't want a knee transplant!)

THANKS EVERYONE! I gave it a shot! Had hubby get me some GENEPRO Medical Grade flavorless whey Protein from GNC. It includes enzymes to help break down the protein I guess. Apparently from what GNU rep said many do and they are listed on label since whey is difficult to break down for everyone( who knew!!)
Tried it last night a couple times and tolerated it very well.
I'd recommend this brand. I was even able to sprinkle on Jello and wasn't any taste (to me anyway) Hving it in c.f. iced tea now. 1 tBsp is 30g of protein. I think this will go a LONG WAY in helping me get my protein in daily!

The GNC brand of bottled fruit flavored liquid Isopure is very carbonated (even though the store manager assured me they were not) So steer clear of those! Even blending and leaving it stand open in fridge overnight didn't allow the carbonation to come out!!There's the regular Isopure Protein mix then the Isopure drink it's like a Gatorade. They r 20oz. 40 pro 160cal each glass bottle. Like about $5 a bottle about 10 favors clear liquid like Gatorade. Not like powder. Very different in texture n taste. Just an option.

I bought some of the unflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury to add to applesauce and maybe broths. when I opened it I recoiled at the smell - I haven't mixed it in with anything yet. Not sure if I want to now that I have smelled it. (I am only on day 1 of liquids)
I love the chicken and the unflavored was great and blended well. Everyone has their own tastes.

I had my surgery on Monday. Hv had same experience in my face. Mine happens late afternoon/ early evening and is accompanied by low grade temp. I was told a random low grade temp would be normal following this surgery. Anything over 101 was concern
Good luck. Just wanted you to know you're not alone

Funny...i was going to ask a similar question. I'm 2 weeks out and I hear people who hv lost 20 some lbs and I lost maybe 3 or 4 the 1st week and 0 this week....its discouraging. Even though I KNOW all the right things (everyone's different, it's a marathon, give your body a chance) I'd just like to see some reward for all the Water drinkin', Soup slurpin' says that I've been trying so hard with. I'm sure you all understand. I'm glad about this forum because there's so much support. And when I get hung up on that I can move on after reading some encouraging words and read some other great info on another topic!
