Ever since I started the program I cant get my surgery off my mind. I want it NOW!!! I have lost 10 lbs so far but I still have a long way to go. I am so frustrated

Well, my husband and I have decided there will be NO MX surgery... I'm looking at a surgeon in FL that does the VSG for $7800. I've sent him 2 requests with no response. I'm also looking locally. God is in Control! There;s a reason for it all!

I found my adult Boy Scout uniforms and I have to say that they fit better now than they did the last time I wore them.

So after a whirlwind trip to visit two families in another state for Xmas, we finally got home today. Whenever we leave Arizona, our first meal back is always Mexican (since all the other states around have trash Mexican food). After dinner I got a wild hair and we stopped by DXL. Now I was always on the very low end for pants there (I have no assatall), so I didn't even bother to look at pants... I'm pretty sure I have to shop in regular stores for those now. What I did NOT expect was going from a 3XT to a plain jane 1X! Major NSV for me... I can now shop in "regular" stores - at exactly one month post op!!

3-4 Days after surgery is no joke. Hurting and cranky and sipping my water.

So I got into a size 12 jeans today. OK..so I couldn't breathe and I looked like a stuffed sausage but I got into them. LOL!!!

On another note.... i bought some size 6 slacks on black friday... and they are too big... I swear they did fit when i tried them on..... WHAT!!!

Today is my one month anniversary. I had hoped to lose about 150 pounds by now...but alas surgery is not magic! I'm kidding, I'm thrilled to be finally getting into a routine. I haven't cheated my plan and I feel pretty good (much of the time)

We got great news today! We found out Tuesday my SIL was NOT a candidate for liver because she was too unhealthy to make it through transplant. Well, Today her own liver is showing signs of improvement! They think that if her liver gets healthy enough, her kidneys may begin to function again. She is also awake, alert and may be able to come off the vent. Thanks so much for all of your prayers! Someone is really watching out for her upstairs.

Tomorrow is my surgery day!! I really wish I could run out to Chipolte, Five Guys, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Panera and Dairy Queen and just go crazy!!!!!! Oh... wait... I am really enjoying all this chicken broth. Lol!
