For those that are only on liquid clear diet pre ops how are you doing this .I start my liquid diet on Tuesday just for 2 days .I decided to try it out this weekend I was able to do Clear liquids then around 3 or 4 I would feel sick then I would eat a sensible dinner and feel better ..

I had bronchitis 3 weeks before surgery it was bad .the week before I started to feel much better but I continue to have a cough .I also feel a lump in the back of my throat when I lay down . Will the do the surgery ..

Being able to cut and paint my toe nails .

Being able to sit on the floor and play with my daughter.

Being able to put on my socks.

Not working about people saying give it to the fat person she eats everything .

Not being laughed at at work I work with kids they always want me to do things I can't

My surgeon and nut said I only need to have Clear liquids 24hrs before surgery.

I thought this is odd..

I decided that I would do my own before surgery . My surgery is Thursday Oct 20 .

I started on sat ..

I had a shake for Breakfast shake for lunch Protein Shake that is

And unfortunately went to great adventure and had a burger and a few fries for dinner I had nothing else the rest of the night .

On Sunday I had a Protein Shake for brunch I woke up late had Water and decafinated tea for lunch .my stomach felt weird and so did I. I felt exhausted and a little yucky ..I bought myself a Bai coconut drink went home and had about 8 oz of chicken and some green Beans ..

My question is am I doing it correctly or should I stop everything now to shrink the liver and empty my stomach ..

What does it mean and only 3 people know I'm having surgery besides my husband ..my mother in law my friend and my job ..I just don't need the negativity .and if there are any complications whether small or big will always be an issue ..I will wait till everything is good again.

I tried them all ..my surgery will be Oct 20 ..the green tea is better ..look into unjury for Clear liquids Protein ..they taste good .

My husband is somewhat supportive but he forgets ..I constantly have to remind him that I can't have certain things ..he came home with a bag of almost joys ..my favorite..I could kill him ..

My surgeon said I didn't have to diet before the surgery just 24 hours before do only Clear liquids .

I spoken to so many people and I go to his support groups and the ones I have spoken to all said 2 weeks before that their dietitian put them on a diet mine did not ..

Did anyone else not have to diet before ..

I'm nervous I might fail because I didn't diet .

My surgery is Oct 20th any suggestions what to bring to the hospital.

My mind set was great when they gave me my date for surgery and then a week ago they said the insurance denied it .I was bummed the next date available for surgery was in December. I started to let it go not think about it and move on with my life .they called me on the 13 saying surgery is back on it was approved .I was ready a week ago to have surgery now I feel like I'm not ready .. any suggestions ?
