Thank you. I was kind of upset when I found out I had gained in the hospital. Today is 7 days postop and I have lost that weight plus a little more.

Why is it that I gained weight after surgery while I was in the hospital recovering? Is it because of all the ice and the IV and lack of urinating? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Today is day 4 of my new life. I slept so much better at home last night than at the hospital. I had to do the leak test twice and that stuff they have you drink is beyond horrible. I still haven't been hungry at all but eat like I was instructed. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Yes, only three days. It was 5 days low calories (1000 - 1200) and 3 liquid. My surgery is more due to my uncontrolled diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure and cholesterol. I woke up at 0100 hrs this morning craving a big custard donut.

I start my liquid diet today and have my surgery on Thursday 20 Oct 2016. I got a reminder call on Friday for a pre surgery class today. I was never told about a pre surgery class. Oh well, it is a good thing I am teleworking today. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
