November 3, 20169 yr Author I feel pretty good about the actual surgery but I'm worried about afterwards. I've read that a lot of people get really depressed afterwards. November 3, 20169 yr You will do fine. I was nervous for the surgery but it was nothing. I never had any pain meds. I was sore but it wasn't so bad that I couldn't handle it. The barium for the leak test (I had to do it twice) is some of the nastiest stuff I have ever had to drink. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
