Very good. It seems funny to be losing weight. I got so used to the fact that it was almost impossible to lose weight being on insulin.

Just completed my 30 day post op with my surgeon. He said I am doing great and officially have zero restrictions. I am very happy. Next checkup will be my 90 day on 19 Jan 2017. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

It hurt for the first week or so but never enough to take pain pills. I was driving myself on day three (even though I wasn't supposed to for 2 weeks) and I was feeling like my old self on the second week. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

One of my friends on FB said that Apple Cider Vinegar is a replacement for these pills. Anyone else use vinegar? -
I would say this is fiction. I have not had any "close calls" myself. I am only 1 month post op but I still haven't had any issues.

I have sleep apnea and I hope that one day I won't have to use my CPAP machine. I think the pressure is set too high since I have lost weight (37 lbs since my consult on 31 Aug 2016). I have an appointment with the sleep center at the VA hospital today and will be discussing the pressure with my doctor. My RNY surgery was on 20 Oct 2016 and today marks my one month post op.

I bought the Garmin Vivo HR. It does steps, floors, heart rate, tells you the weather, text messages you receive, caller ID and some other things. I really like my Garmin, IMO it is better than the Fitbit. I think it is all a personal choice as too which brand or type you get.

Today is 1 month Post Op. I can start solid food today. I was eating Hummus last night and yes I wasn't paying attention. You can believe that it will not happen again.

I went on the second day I was in the hospital. I am almost a month post op and I go maybe once a week. But am really not eating anything solid so I feel that I will not really have a "normal" BM. -
What do you eat on the 3rd week after surgery ?

will hit 4 weeks on Thursday. Right now I am eating hard boiled egg white, tuna with light mayo, apple sauce (unsweetened), cream of soups, tomato soup, plain oatmeal and protein shakes. I can't wait to start eating "regular" food again.
