I recently wrote a blog post about my journey as a gastric sleeve patient and I wanted to share it with you all. My mother also had the same procedure done on the same day and I am 100% sure it saved her life.
I had the surgery done when I was 29. I know that may seem like a young age to do it at, but after looking at the science of it all, it was definitely the right choice for me. Most of all, I'm thankful my mother did it. I know she's alive today because she did. Gastric sleeve may not be the right choice for everyone but it definitely was for my family.
