  1. I fluctuate between 3-4lbs for a month at a time and then suddenly when I'm not looking at the scale it's gone, plus a pound! Then the same vicious cycle begins!
  2. My ht/wt are the same...stats are to except I've lost 53#. Do you have PCOS by chance, you mentioned hormones.
  3. My date is 10/5. About how many calories do you all costume daily, and protein? I have PCOS hormones are crazy lately but I'm between 800- lately 1100 kcal daily. Protein ranges from 48-90. And I swear fat has left me in all places but my gut! I'm in a 12 pant. And L men's T, yes I've stole all hubbies T shirts!

  5. 15 weeks out from VSG, DOS 10-5-17 SUSHI RICE Rice, seasoned miran, soy, avocado, cucumber, ebi (shrimp) furikake sprinkles (there are various kinds if you prefer not to eat seafood), sesame seed, carrot, sriracha, Korean savory roasted seaweed snack sheets.   8. To those that use MyFitnessPal, and are 5 to 6 months out approx how many calories are you consuming? And what are your macros; do u count carbs, Protein, fats, sugars? My avg kcal is 1100 lately. Carbs 69-89. I would like to keep them between 40-60. Protein 48 to 90. Goal is 110. Fats avg 60. I'm going to do the 2 week Keto Jump Start in my FB Group... then go to strict paleo.
  9. You will do just fine it's not a quick fix for those less than 250 from what I've seen. I do the same thing off and on. Keep up the muscle gains it will burn that fat, and track on MyFitnessPal... take photos of what you are eating so you don't forget to add it to your diary and evaluate that at the end of the day both photo and diary see what you can change.   10. So I seem to have become quite the sag bag, but I swear my stomach has lost the least in inches in comparison to the rest of my body! I think my bobbies and legs have lost the most! What about you? What are you problem areas?
  11. Okay, so I just shared something that I haven't even ever shown my husband! I'm doing this because I know many of you struggle with the same thing, and those that don't God bless you! hair LOSS! My cosmetic cover up for HAIR LOSS!     Ugh, I think my M.D. took the wrong part of my stomach out , why, you ask? Because I've never had a sweet tooth and now I crave cookies! And they go down way to easy. Now, what to do about this? It didn't help that I had my sleeve 8 week before Christmas! How do you handle mental cravings, the bad ones?

    Actually I've started eating fruit or mashed banana with granola, love the crunch and natural sweetness of the fruit. Its satisfying as well, at times I put both on my fat free yogurt. Bedtime is the struggle, when I get super tired I get the darn munchies and am not as head strong about avoiding my cravings...that started with Ambien many moons ago, I have since gotten off ambien!

    Have you been at eating the thins, at least? I threw out all but one box of Cookies in the house! It was Christmas time and they were my weakness! I'm trying to replace my sugar cravings with fruit! I have NO IDEA why I suddenly desire them demons (cookies) post op! Grrrrr! Thank you everybody for your comments ! I've overcome worse, I CAN KILL THE COOKIE HABIT! But I need to stop talking about them before I want one! WHAT IS YOUR WEAKNESS?

    Ugh, me too I havent had whey since my surgery I HATE it now! I can do vegan whey occasionally... but most my protein comes from food now, no shakes!

    DO IT FOR YOU! KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!! I'm in a 2 week stall as well! Take your measurements, even if the scale isn't moving, you may be losing inches!
  22. Get an instant pot or Power Pressure Pot XL and make yourself more muscle meats and or Beans... I can make incredible refried beans from bag to refry within 1 hour. They pot has helped me get more protein in for sure, without it I would not get my protein in, as I don't consume whey and I hate nearly all the shakes except for vegan ones. Good luck!

    My surgeon agrees, he does not support this or any form of banding, for the same reasons--they usually end up having to come out.

    Throw out the Scale

    scales can create fails! Mine gets me emotionally! I can tell Im losing inches before weight, Im definitely getting more and more deflated and my too tight skinny clothing from last year is now too small. So I agree, if I had the courage I would smash my scale too!!!
