It's a long process at least 6 MOS, you won't have surgery for 8 mos at the least. You have to get a ton of clearance from other doctors and have to lose 5% of your body weight. hello I have been a gym fanatic and found my love for working out again. My question is how long after surgery can I begin regular cardio ? lifting again ? and lifting heavy ? any feedback us greatly appreciated

ok thanks. it wasn't a problem driving or getting up and down stairs ? those are all involved in my gym process -

thank you for the info. I have so many questions for my surgeon.its gonna be really tough not doing anything for 3 weeks . I've been in the gym like a maniac and I love it. -

omg pretty ruby mine is on the 12 it has been the longest draw out process ever. my life is on hold I hope to god I get the surgery date and it's 2-3 weeks after the 12 th.good luck

I'm meeting with my surgeon on May 12th. I hope I get my date then. Anticipation is killing me also. my life is totally on hold !!! I had issues with insurance but I called earlier this week and they said they're just waiting for the surgery submission so I hope I am all set.good luck

I meet with my surgeon on May 12. I've done everything that needs to be done and my life is actually on hold. how long after I meet with the surgeon will my surgery be scheduled for ? I'm hoping 2-3 weeks at the most.

that's good to hear.. I'm meeting with my surgeon on May 12 th and hoping to get it done 2-3 weeks after that. my life has been on hold I can't wait to get it done. keep me posted how the feeling .
