I had the same problem with period just had it before surgery and then got it again after then two weeks later. I have a heavy period normally well this was like a horror scene from a slasher flick. Yall know what i'm talking about where you don't want to make a move or cough because niagra falls comes rushing out. And the cramps my gosh felt like i was having contractions. I tried to keep it a secret from work but when i filed for fmla they wanted me to be specific on the type of surgery i was having. Mine lasted like a week then stopped but then it would sneak back up on me in some odd places like back or side pains. Gas x and lots of walking but mostly the walking helps move it out. Also i massaged gently the areas where i felt the most gassy. Sent from my SM-G920P using the BariatricPal App

I follow my plan which makes me eat six times a day. When i am not eating im drinking. There is no room for grazing are you eating as much as your plan is telling you to eat? Kirby im 6 weeks out and i know what you are talking about too. For me it kinda felt like a mourning period. Then i think positive and know that it wont be this way forever so i have to try to enjoy the restriction while it lasts, because it wont be this way forever either. Meaning i will not lose weight as quickly. For the mean time i eat only one food item like chicken, tuna, lots of fish, Beans, eggs, oatmeal w/protein. If i want a meal i make it and separate it out in bowls for later then give the rest away. But yes right now i do feel limited on foods but its okay it will be worth the weight lol. I made the decision on my own to quit when i decided to change my life. I quit in june of 2016 decided to have surgery in august had it done in december. Still smoke free and loving it. Im too busy keeping up with the drinking and eating schedule to miss it. Lol i hope i feel this way forever. I dont want to go back. Good luck with quitting. Wow im a newbie here and i learned more from this post than i did from the health care office i go to sure they answer your questions but they wait till you have one to give the information out. Plus learning this from someone who has gone through it helps alot, my nut tells me her meal plan for me and only offers what is on paper nothing else unless i ask. I guess another reason i posted these questions is because everytime i go see my bariatric surgeon. When i walk into a room full of people they all start looking at me up and down like i am or was there worst nightmare. Then i think to myself hey you guys were at this same point at one time of your lives too. Its the mentality of an ex smoker speaking to a smoker. Of all places i would have thought that this place would be judgement free but it feels the worse. As for the dating i have a sister who is currently losing weight but is literally battling with her husband who is obese for her not to lose weight WHAT?
