  1. So sometime ago i posted about this to see if anyone was expierincing these problems basically when i poop it burns. Well it finally got so bad i went to er they said its proctitis he did not give me anything at all just left me in pain. then went to see my doctor said the same thing but he gave me some muscle relaxers and stool softners and valium and of course doing sitz baths but still nothing helps. I keep telling them i think its my poop burning me but they just disregard me even my bariatric surgeon said it was not an issue with the surgery so he is not concerned. I am so worried waiting on a gastroenterologist to see me but in the mean time i have to go back to work and no changes. I dont know what to do i had blood work done was low in zinc and Iron and d i asked the nutritionist if this would cause the problem she said she did not know. Oh great these people cant seem to help me pain is severe just want to be able to go without glass shards coming out.

  2. Hello folks been a while since i was on here came across this post of mine and thought i would share with you guys a funny moment. So when i got my treadmill my brother in law put it together for me being that i just had surgery and could not lift. When i was finally cleared i started to use it and after 40 min i was huffing and puffing away had trouble doing the full 60 min. I chalked it up to getting out of routine on the count of surgery. After a couple days went by about a week things got a bit easier not alot but some i was able to do 60 min but still drenched in sweat. I asked you guys about it then i started reading the manual and found out it had an incline adjustment which is manually adjusted omg i have been on an incline all this time. On the plus side I CAN DO 60 MIN ON AN INCLINE!
    Yall can laugh now.

  3. Okay so here is my story on hiatal hernia please forgive my spelling. So about a year and a half ago i had ds surgery not by laparoscopy they pulled out my gallbladder and fixed my hernia. I was doing really well i started out at 391 then i wast 245 when i started to notice that i was eating more than most but not to where it was unusual but still had me asking questions. Then i noticed more heartburn not to where it was causing me to choke or anything but enough for me to ask for a higher dose of meds. I spoke to the doctor he did a scope and saw the hiatal hernia again. He tells me that because i was so big to begin with that it probably came back and that i should consider surgery again. I asked how will i know it will not come back again he said well now your alot smaller but i cant guarantee anything. I asked if he was going to slice me open again he said he wanted to try to do it by laparoscopy. If there is to much scar tissue then yes he says. So i have it done and he was able to do it the less invasive way, however i must say and this is just my opinion it hurt so much more than my first surgery. I had the same wonderful pain meds but it was not the incisions that hurt it was all the air they pumped into my body. I had more issues with this surgery than the first one. He had me on Liquids for a few days i could barely eat anything i went from a cup and a half to less than an ounce. Pain from burps coming up at the same time i would swallow ouch! Hiccups when my tummy had enough was new to me heard about it but never experienced it till now. The feeling of everything getting stuck just before it would go into stomach. Cold stuff felt like glass shards warm felt nice but only liquids. Now im about three weeks out things feel better gas pains finally went away pain meds did not help for that only caused severe Constipation which i also did not have during first surgery. Right now what i feel is sore stabbing pains in the gut area from being in seated position. I also noted that i needed to wear the binder a lot longer than the first surgery. As for anesthesia i did notice it took me longer to recover from it.

  4. I think what is freaking me out is that when i first had the surgery and hernia fix i knew what to expect. As time went by i noticed i could eat alot more and it felt off to me so i started asking folks around my time frame with my type of surgery how much they were able to eat and a couple were similar but most ate alot less. I now believe due to my hernia i was able to eat more. Now that its fixed it feels like im starting over which is kind of a blessing to help me lose the rest of my weight. The dr. Did say there would be some restrictiction he also said it would not last long. What freaks me out is they only had me on liwuid for a few days now soft foods until i could tolerate reg foods again. However the amount i can eat is like 2 oz like it was when i first started which is okay as long as i knew that this is normal and things will get better. My mind is just racing i will see my dr. On wed for follow up i am just one of those patients that if its rare and negative it usually happens to me.

  5. So i just had my hernia repaired still healing from it. My dr was able to do it laproscopicly. I still worry though if it came back once it will come back again . I did not go through the gas pains the first time since i was cut open for the ds. I have to say this feels more painful this time around. Feelings are funny i burp and it hurts feels like an elephant is sitting on my chest till the air passes very painful. I walk alot that helps but wow!
