So upset!
Walking will actually give you energy help strengthen you quicker. Just go slow, stay hydrated and cool while you do. Walk laps in your house. For instance chair to kitchen 2-3 times before sitting one day tomorrow up it to 4 if its too quick do 3 then 4. As long as you do more today than yesterday every step is an improvement. If that's too easy. Go to the mall or a store window shop at pretty things a couple sizes 2 small. You'll be there before you know it Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

2 1/2 weeks out post surgery
I'm not sure if thin grits are on mine 2 weeks out but oatmeal, cream of wheat, and eggs are. Even thin mash potatoes but only 5-10% of diet can be carbs 70% Protein and 15-20% veggies then the rest after I've gotten protein can be carbs. My issue is a lot of protein things have carbs just a little and it usually makes up that small % without extras. Did try mash potatoes yesterday. I don't even like them anymore. Who would a thought this girl snubbing nose at bread and potato's. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

Does anybody elses scale mess with them?
Mine hates me. Its funny though I will get 10 different readings w 7 lb difference but the day I go to the Dr it's dead on. Think its possessed. Fiancé agrees he weighs pretty much the same all the time does him the same way. I even leave it in the same spot I made sure was level because that could mess it up I think Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App U

What were your worst symptoms post-op?
My worst pain but didn't need meds was the left incision laying and raising our of bed abdominal muscles I'm sure. Not too terrible. Constipation, not from pain meds, I've had major back issues that caused it years ago problem is couldn't use normal remedy because of new stomach. All is well now Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

Able to eat almost anything
Thanks. I realize I'm a food addict to some point. It never was a comfort thing for me or to hide my feelings, it was a social thing, a family thing for years. I don't think I have ever been truly hungry or craved in my life til I had a hysterectomy in June for cancer. I was already on my wls journey at that point, but 2 weeks after when nausea left, I craved like crazy. I was so thankful to have started this process and looked forward to gaining this tool because I became a bottomless pit it seemed. I'm on the standard for all my drs patients. Decided to continue my liquids a bit longer, cut more carbs out and up the Protein. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

Why is a stool sample needed
Possibly h pylori, I had an egd and if they found something it was possible I'd have to. But all was well. A lot of times stool samples check for blood but not the only thing Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

Idiot dater (Rant warning)
Oh so right. That is what attracted me to my fiancé. He was a man with a plan. All I had to do was say yes when he asked and that was it. So refreshing. Little things do mean the most too. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

Able to eat almost anything
My Dr had me on soft chicken and tuna a week post op soft stage 3 full liquids the first week. With that said, nothing bothered me that was on my list to try til w weeks out which was Monday everything has bothered me since except Protein shakes and yogurt. Water even bothers me. Other things seem to "get stuck" I can only describe it as chest pain after 3 baby spoon bites. Be easy on your tummy you may just not feel the damage. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App

Water intake
I believe the drinking while eating isnt recommended because it flushes food out so you feel hungry sooner after, not that it stretches. There's a video on YouTube about it. Sipping constantly doesn't stretch because it flows through. Sent from my 5054N using the BariatricPal App
