    Phentermine

When are you getting banded? Who's doing your surgery? Good luck with everything. I'm sure you'll do well!

    Phentermine

SassyB, I searched HIGH AND LO on the internet for yellow jackets. I think they have been banned from the market. I only use adipex (phentermine). I was hoping to try to yellow jackets but no such luck.

    Phentermine

Hi Missy, I'm Lynn from Atlanta! Nice to meet you. Just curious how you were doing with the Adipex diet pills? Have they been working for you?
  4. KINGSKID66

    Phentermine

I've been back on Adipex since around April this year. Lost another 15lbs or so. Got me off the plateau I had hit and gave me lots more energy! I highly recommend it to get back motivated and jumpstart the weight loss. They are EXPENSIVE though ....

    Phentermine

Hey Fairy, There are a number of websites for yellow jackets with ephedra. Who have you used in the past?

    Phentermine

Hey FairyFacade, Thanks for the info. Where is a reputable place to buy the yellow jackets with ephedra? There are many places online but you never can tell what you're getting. I've used Adipex (the brand name for Phentermine) off and on. Have had great results. The effects wear off pretty soon though. But it still helps me control my appetite easily. The worst side effect I've had over the years is dehydration. Requires LOTS of Water, which is good for you anyway! Hope the info helps.
  7. Hey Everyone! I haven't posted in a long time. I'm almost 2 years post op and have been doing just fine until recently. I've lost 42lbs and feel great. Had hoped to lose a little more but overall feel wonderful. I had my last fill about six months ago. I felt a little tight off and on. Like a few others here, I have begun to tighten over time. I had no idea that could happen. To date, I cannot digest anything - EVERYTHING comes back up. I've had no food/water for two days. As you can imagine, I am quite miserable. The reason I think my band is completely closed is because I took two antacid tablets last night around 11pm, hoping they would help with the reflux (which I have no history of). Around 4am, I woke up vomiting again. The antacid tablets were still in their chewed up form, they had never gone through my digestive track. It also explains why I feel nothing going into my pouch. I have vomited so much I really hurt. Will probably end up going to the emergency room this morning. Has anyone had anything similar occur?:confused2:

HELP - Band May Have Completely Closed!!!

Hey All! Thanks for the replies. I really appreciate the support. Just spent about 8 hours in the ER. I went to my HMO after hours care center first and they had an ambulance transport me to the ER due to the severity of my dehydration. They had a really difficult time finding a vein to administer the I.V. It took five sticks to finally get one. Once I was transported to the ER, they were not much help. They spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to do with me. Did a barium (however you spell it) swallow and I was restricted about 99%. I was shocked the barium stuff didn't come back up. One thing I found out was the amount of vomiting I did over the last two days caused me to swell really badly. Currently, I'm open enough to drink liquid. I'm too scared to try solid food. May try some Soup later tonight. Long story short ... the ER had no one experienced with bariatric surgery. Thank God I was able to speak w/Dr. Martinez. He told me to tell them what to do - have the radiologist remove some of the fill under flouro. Unfortunately, they had no radiologist on staff. So, I didn't really get anything resolved. But, since some of the swelling has gone down I can at least drink something. So I spent all day lying in a room w/an I.V. connected to my arm. I felt a lot better getting some fluids, so it wasn't a complete waste of time. I still won't have anything resolved until next week but I feel a lot better. Again, thank you all. I am doing much better than I was when I first posted this morning.

    Fill provider in Florida

I am so glad to read your post on the St. Pete center. I am desperately trying arrange a trip to get a fill. My plan was to go to the Moultrie, GA location. However, I found out that she only does them for a few hours on Saturday and charges $200 additional for fluoro - which is mandatory on the first visit. I thought that was a bit much. How much extra do they charge in St. Pete for flouro? Lynn

Hot nana, How are you doing with your fill? I plan to go to Moultrie in about two weeks. Lynn

Thanks for the info, Bette. I am going to try them in the next few weeks. I'll let you all know how everything went. Lynn
  13. cherg, that's funny!!! yeah ... that euphoria is a GREAT thing if you can handle it! hmmm .... you're making me reconsider!!!!
  14. Thanks so much for going through the trouble of posting this article. It's very informative. I think I'll give the Moultrie, GA location a try.
  15. I agree with you cherg as far as the side effects go. I do remember having excruciating migraine headaches that would last for three days. That's how long it took for the drug to get out of my system. Thank you for reminding me of that. I remembered that, but did not recall how bad they were. If I try them again, I will definitely only take 1-2 pills a week. I took them off and on for a number of years, also. That's so funny how the dr dispensed them from his home!!! That shows you how unregulated these things were at one time. I never had any issues with feeling I was addicted in any way. Sure, I DEFINITELY enjoyed the euphoric, on-top-of-the-world-I-can-do-anything feeling (yeah, it's like that)! But, I didn't have any real issues when I finally stopped taking them. I could no longer tolerate the headaches and irritability. I was mean as a rattlesnake during that time. Taken in moderation, they are usually beneficial. Again, I just want to jump start my weight loss again. Thanks for the input.
  16. Hey Hot Nana! Thanks so very much for this info. I was really nervous about going. It just seems like doctors in the U.S. are so much more conservative than doctors in other countries. Our medical system in the U.S. is a huge cesspool that is designed to keep you coming back paying over and over again. I don't know that anyone really gets cured of anything. They just keep prescribing more and more meds, then you have to take others to counteract new side effects. Enough of my soap box on that topic .... I say all that to say I was really concerned that they would give me a small fill so I would have to come back and pay again. This would be a complete waste of my time and money. Please post soon and let me know if you have restriction. You were banded a month after me. I too returned to Dr. Ortiz for my first fill. I have skymiles I can use and was considering going back to him for another fill. When I pay transportation/fill costs for Dr. Ortiz it will be about the same cost as a first fill in Moultrie. So I have been debating this issue for a couple of weeks now. Moultrie would be much less time consuming. Since I work a lot of cases in south Georgia, if I can coordinate my work schedule where I can get a fill at the same time, that would be great. Please, let me know how you are doing soon and thanks for replying - it has been quite helpful. Did you have any reservations about not having it under fluoro??? Lynn
  17. Texas Rose, I cannot find your post, but thank you so much for the heads up on the generic version. Of course, because of the financial aspect considered it. If I opt for them, I will choose another option. Please post again and let us know how the second choice works for you. Thanks, again.
  18. I think everyone has to use what works for them. I agree that diet pills are not a long term solution. I lost weight and plateaud very early on after getting banded. I went back to mexico for a fill and felt absolutely nothing. I may have gained three or four pounds back but the pills will help jump start my motivation. I also agree that it completely circumvents the band process. But whatever works to get a person back on track ... The fact is, the longer you stay unmotivated the worse things get. I will be going for another fill soon and pray I get restriction again.
  19. I wasn't able to look at the actual article. Can you post it?
  20. Did you go to your appt at the fill center in GA? If so, how was it and how much did it cost? I would like to have mine done under fluoro, but it sounds really expensive. And I'm concerned about whether or not they will give me enough. I don't want to keep investing hundreds of dollars and not getting any results. I'm still considering going back to Dr. Ortiz for another fill.
  21. Has anyone gotten a fill at the Fill Centers USA location in Moultrie, GA? I just have a fear that they are going to give me a small fill so I have to keep coming back paying again and again. I hear this is how doctors in the U.S. typically do things. Please share your experience. I desperately need a fill and am considering this location. It sounds like flouro is a lot more expensive .... Lynn
  22. Is everyone getting their phentermine from a doctor? I don't know if any doctor would prescribe it for me. I would be kind of embarrassed to ask my doctor for it. It seems like I'm saying that my band surgery did not work for me. I've just plateaud and need to do something else. I know I need a fill. I posted a message yesterday to ask if anyone has used the fill centers usa. I want to go to the one in GA but wonder if they just give you a little so you have to keep coming back. I guess what you all are saying is that the combination of the phentermine/phenfluromine is what was banned. I thought both meds, individually, were banned. I'm not sure if I trust internet purchases, but it's something to consider??
  23. I have no idea. It has been a number of years ago since I took Phentermine. I do remember them being a small bitter pill. Is yours suppressing your appetite?

  25. Hello All! Haven't been on the site for a few months so it's good to be back. As for the phentermine ... I thought they could no longer be obtained legally in the U.S. Is that not true? Where have you all gotten them from? I used to take Phentermine years ago and it was fantastic - but I do remember getting terrible headaches some times. Please, educate me on what's out there. Thanks. Lynn
