Relax! The "to be so sure" is in reference to them knowing all your info to gives you to advice. I wouldn't want anyone taking advice from someone who doesn't know the whole picture, so excuse me for saying sometimes. There are no dumb questions, you know. If you don't know you don't learn.

And walk of course start with food with sugar with less than 10 gram of sugar. Bc I could go right sugar free out the door.

I also have fibromyalgia. Things eventually got easier when I started exercising. When I seem to stop moving the pain sets in. I'm still on Lyrica and pain meds tho. But have cut back on my pain meds a good amount. The arthritis in my knee still there.

Shout gun answer to sweet tooth is bypass bc......your and my worst enemy doughnuts chocolate etc etc won't allow you bc of dumping syndrome. Look into it.
Okay now b4 you can make plan to follow through you must know "LIFESTYLE CHANGE" your eating will never be the same if you want to success and not regain. You have to be mentally strong and ready bc we all think we ready until at the time of suffering health problems and then we fail. That is my biggest fear and you see time and again some don't want to exercise or like me filling my stomach pass full stretching my tummy or whatever. So be sure and b ready and do for you. K

Yes definitely hypersensitive. Fried foods, cleaning products, perfume, deodorant too strong.

Mine sure did. I stop enjoying
cheese or ground beef oh the texture, dryness. Loved eggs b4 now it's a chore to eat. Salt was too salty and sugars was too sweet but I got over that and now having to many sweets again.

Same here for the fried and spicy food. I can't even stand the smell, buy a lot of things I used to like I don't like anymore. Things taste different too.

I had the sleeve and I'm downing everything sweet of can get my hands on. I did without it once I can do it right again. But you know it's a lifestyle change so you have to change. If you think you might even try to see how it goes maybe bypass is better. Sometimes I wish it's what I had done.Hi everyone!
I have my sleeve surgery tentatively scheduled for Nov 9 (pending insurance approval). What I'm worried about is that I am a total carb and sugar addict. Honestly, I could eat Cookies or ice cream for dinner right now and would be fine. I'm a grazer, eating small amounts all day and most of it is not good food. I know that after the sleeve I will have restriction, but I'm reading that after awhile those things like Cookies, cake and other sugary foods can go down endlessly...this fact concerns me. I will be working with a nutritionist and obviously will have to make HUGE changes and have self control, which I obviously have not had in the past, hence the surgery. How has it been for others who previously had horrible eating habits, to suddenly have to have self control and eat healthy?
Thank you for any feedback!

I'm diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. I was asked to see their doctors and had paperwork sent over by my therapist. Basically I gushed on how wonderful things were going, how determined to make this change. Smiling idiot basically. And my therapist gave good feed back to their doctors.

I ate Beech-Nut chicken baby food and seasoned it a bit then a little mashed potato got my small Cuisinart food processor. And eggs with a little skim milk cooked in a non stick pan. Not so boring for me.I'm 7 days post op. And begin puree next week. I really don't think I will be able to stomach that just cause of texture. Any advice or recipes would be awesome. Thanks
