  1. I'm down to 194.2 this am. Smelling a stall this week....
  2. Dang that's a long time. Thanks! I'm gonna go crazy for that long! Thanks !Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App Yep, I was back (working from home after 1 week) in the office after 2. But still tired because the calories were so low. By 6 weeks you are able to consume a bit more, so better energy.
  3. Let me add your weight loss is much faster than mine and I'm faster than my dietician expected. Plus you lost a ton before surgery...that counts you know..
  4. Add me to your myfitnesspal. Travelher. My surgery is October 4 so look at November in my food diaries
  5. It is gonna happen regardless of what you do and if you have a significant amount of weight to lose. I'm saving for plastics when the time arrives.
  6. I'm surprise you diet allows you to have solids so close post op? Whole blueberries would not have been in my plan at that point and I had a liberal plan compared to most. Did your surgeon not provide you with portion sizes/ an eating plan? you said you feel full after eating so I really don't understand why you are concerned? Most people feel no restriction until after they start solids. I felt normal after surgery too. And relieved I didn't have complications that some others did, not worried. Sounds like you are fine.
  7. You look amazing! 150 is my fantasy weight!
  8. You'll need to be out for around 6 weeks which is how long people are typically limited with lifting..
  9. There is a place to add a friend. You can put in user name or email. My username is travelher. It will then send me a friend request and I'll approve it. Let me know if you are still having trouble and I'll send you screenshots, by pm
  10. I did. Were removed about 2 weeks later, but if they start getting red and angry like this picture, get them out right away. This was right after I had them removed. I developed what is called contact dermatitis. I was told by my doctor that I should have called as soon as they started looking angry like that
  11. Can't help you with the sugar you'll need to stop that and follow your diet plan, but maybe you need to try a bit more fill, smaller increment than last time. The band worked for me for 4 years and then caused me a lot of issues so I ended up revising to RNY.
  12. I'm an e-cup. I just went bra-less for the first 2 weeks at home.
  13. 1/2 cap of miralax with my protein shake every day. Been doing that for a year. Totally regular now.
  14. Add me (travelher) on myfitnesspal pal and then go back to October and you'll see my food diaries for the early weeks of my surgery
  15. So you lost 30 lbs in a 2- week preop? If so you have lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks. Almost exactly what I did in the same period of time, you just lost it quickly up front then stalled. If you are getting you water and protein in and following your plan and not eating crap you'll start to drop again. I actually get nervous if I have a big drop because it always means I'm due for a stall. Dropped 2.5lbs overnight...that has NEVER happened before so now I know I'm going to gain or stall for a bit.
  16. Sugar is a major reason for weight gain. And has zero nutritional value. You need to focus only on foods that nourish your body after wls. That is how I approach food now. Does it provide nutrients or is it filler. If it the latter I'll take a pass. Google is your best friend on the sugar question.
  17. I stalled at 3 weeks and then about once a month since then...in fact now I get nervous if I have days where I lose a little something everyday because I know that means a stall is imminent. So a little info about stalls and why they happen.
  18. Yes it is a meal and actually I would wait for a bit to drink after. You probably won't need to wait 30 mins though. He reason I say his is that I dump if I drink my shake too fast. So it goes to say if I drink a shake and the follow it with water it could push the shake in too quickly and trigger a dump.
  19. Good luck. You are going to love it. Getting rid of the band was the best decision I've made.
  20. Give it a go in the blender.I was allowed soft foods with my purees...but follow your doctor's plan
  21. Yes! This has been my experience, I turn 50 next year and when I tell people my age they are usually shocked...I've always looked younger. Guess I'll have to embrace my 50's just a wee bit earlier... . I exceed on Water so no worries there, gonna have to try the bio-oil...
  22. Sigh...I miss Vancouver...good luck with your surgery. It is coming up soon!
  23. I am now getting comments from people at work every day. What makes it easier for me is I use the treadmill desk everyday at work so I think people are chalking it up to activity etc...lol.. I've had a few people mention my dedication to my fitness.
  24. Call me crazy, but I am I the only one that feels like my weight loss has aged me 10 years in the past few months? It's like wrinkle city has suddenly appeared on my face, turkey neck, the whole thing. I'll take that over the fat, but I was not expecting this...at all
