Daily Calories
My bariatric nurse said that she wanted me to get at least 800 cals a day, as anything less was a starvation diet. She also said 70g of Protein a day and 80-100 when I started working out. I was at 600-750 a day. I still have problems getting 64 oz of Water but I am getting better. HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Past life drive through foods...eye opener!
I was a double cheeseburger addict too. My typical order was two doubles (add grilled onions) or a double and mcchicken and a large fry. Thats over 1300 cals and that woukd just be lunch or dinner. I would usually have another similar meal. HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Period, constipation, stall or all of the above?
Ive been getting around 60oz of fluids. I have a hard time remembering to drink. I was always a volume drinker, 16-24oz at a time a few times a day primarily with meals. The fluxuations in weight dont usually bother me. I have been daily weighing because i jumped my cals at the advice of my bariatric nurse and i wanted to keep track of the results. Dairy is my go to food. I use fairlife milk and genpro for Breakfast and oikos yougurt for lunch. They are my primary Protein sources during work hours. For the past 13years i have had cronic diarrhea as a side effect of gallbladder removal, so i have never dealt with long term constipation. Its a new issue for me. A coworker suggested raisins. I was planning on walking the dogs (rather than fetch in the backyard) so hopefully that will help. HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Period, constipation, stall or all of the above?
I was 338 on 10/30. On 11/1, I was 341.4. I dodnt worry about it because i the last couple of days had been closer to 1000 cals because of our anniversay and because I hadnt "eliminated". On 11/2, I was 340.6. I also had some spotting. I have mirena and havent period in years, so this was a bit weird. But the spotting has stopped. Today, I was 339.8. Its going down a bit but I realized the last time I remember having a decent size "elimination" was Saturday. Do I consider this the three week stall (4 weeks post op yesterday), some psuedo period or constipation? If stall or constipatio, what do you guys suggest to "break through"? I would really like to . Thanks HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Alcohol
I was a cheap date (half a cocktail could get me buzzed) prior to surgery, so I am choosing to abstain. I dont want to have a couple of sips and start stripping. Lol HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Not losing weight
I was sleeved on the same day. Are You getting enough calories? I was averaging 600-750 cals and losing about 0.5lbs a day. My bariatric nurse said i should be getting at least 800cals as less is a starvation diet. When i jumped, i lost on average 1lb a day... That may be different for you because of starting stats, but it doesnt hurt to try. At worst you have another week of slow loss. Except now because of constipation. Nargh! Does anyone else plan and celebrate mini goals?
Congrats!!! Also, looking into getting a FitBit... but was undecided. Like the reviews on the Alta. Which fitbit do u have & how do you like it?I have the alta. I really like it. Husband has the original flex but we might upgrade for him. Unless you really want the HR ability, I recommend the alta. I think it looks better on a womans wrist and it has lots of accessory style bands to dress it up. HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

I like this new bracelet/band for the fitbit alta. Trying to decide if for christmas or a goal reward. It depends on what else cool I find. Lol https://www.etsy.com/listing/475437492/pre-order-alta-sanabelle-fitbit-bracelet HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Does anyone else plan and celebrate mini goals?
I added them to a bucket list app. When I complete it, it draws a line through it and moves it to the bottom. I like seeing things moved to the bottom. HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

1 week weigh in post op
I feel less restricted at that cal range. I get a Breakfast lunch dinner and snack which helps keep the fatman (head hunger) at bay. Plus, eating more AND losing more weight = WIN/WIN!!! HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Nothing tastes or sounds appetizing
Have you tried dairy? Oikos yougurt, soft cheeses, fairlife milk, or super soft eggs? I like to do a 1 part fairlife to 3 parts liquid eggs with one laughing cow wedge. It makes super soft eggs that dont weep liquid. A four ounce serving ends up at 100cals and 14g Protein. ETA - The eggs sounded better than the yogurt I had grabbed so i put it back and made myself some. HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Cake or no cake? Cake substitution?
These are accutally very good. You can buy them only for $10 or so for a box of 7. We used WonderSlim products when we were doing a medifast style diet but cheaper. I still have an entire cupboard filled with wonderslim products. The hot chocolate plus instant coffee makes a decent high protein mocha. HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

Differently? Was that an autocorrect or do you have some cool way of celebrating that you should share with the class? What kind of mini goals do you guys have for yourselves? How do you celebrate/reward yourself? HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16

1 week weigh in post op
After speaking with my bariatric nurse, i jumped my cals from 600-700 to 800-950 and my protein from 60's to 70's. Since then i have been losing 1+ lbs a day rather than the 0.4 -0.6 previously. HW 385 SW 359 CW 340 Sleeved 10/5/16
