  1. Hello to everyone & happy New Years. I'm wondering if everyone that has Aetna insurance has to go through 4 months of nutrition, gym 3x a week, psych clearance, & upper GI before even getting a surgery date?

Yes, I have Aetna insurance and I had to go through a 4 month program but it went fast. I started in February 2016 when I went to the information session then 2 weeks later I started the program. My surgery was August 29, 2016.

Since I had the my surgery in August my menstrual periods are so painful. I know we are not suppose to take Aleeve & Midol but I have to for the first 2 days. I have to rotate them every 2-4 hours. I never had menstrual cramps like this before.

  3. Hi, I had the bypass 8/29, and I've started this weekend eating solid foods. I think it's to soon because I feel so sick when I eat I hate the feeling & and painful. I do everything to keep it down. Also I use to like ice in my Water I realized now I like by Water room temperature. I'm loosing weight but I don't think it fast enough. When I started my liquid diet 2 weeks before surgery I was 227, day of surgery I was 218 I am now 201. My goal is 115-120! I do not like the feeling at all after I eat. I hope this was not a mistake.
