I am so glad you posted this. I had my vsg on 9/12/16 and haven't lost anything. I feel as if I have done this surgery in vain but everyone keeps telling me it Will happen and that I'm still healing. It's definable you frustrating when you see other losing weight in couple of days after surgery. Thanks for posting

Lol thanks for your honesty. Your response makes me feel better. I'm not one to always be on the scale everyday. Someone had posted on my fb page that they had lost 20 lbs in 3 days and I thought if she's lost that much, u should have lost something, even if it was 4lbs. I'll relax. Thank you

Thanks. I think i am urinating regularly. I dont think it was like it was before surgery though. Not so much at night either. I just have never heard of anyone not loosing any weight in week one. So I was concerned I was doing something wrong.Could it be possible that you are still carrying Fluid from the surgery? Are you urinating frequently during the day and at night? The first day I came home I didn't lose any weight either, but on day 3 home I lost 4 pounds. Be patient though...give it some time. You still may have a lot of Fluid in your body from the surgery.

I'm concerned because I'm almost 1 week post op (surgery 9/12/16)and haven't lost any weight. I even think I may have gained a pound. Has anyone else had this issue, is it normal for this to happen, and/or how do you fix this? I don't consume anything that isn't allowed. Just liquids...protein shakes, broths, sf popsicles and Jello, and sf apple juice. Please help me get back on track.
