2 weeks for me today. Lost 29 pounds since preop. Scars still hurt a little, solid BM. Hiccups gone, finally met my Protein goal today. Struggling with fluids, have been promoted to mushies- anything I can mash with a fork, using Patches for supplements. Over all feeling pretty good. Everyday it gets a little bit better.

I couldn't find any clear Proteins that didn't make me sick. The unjury is the best clear liquid that was recommended to me.

I ordered the Patches last Friday, they finally showed up today!!! I had difficulty even checking to see that the order was shipped. I won't be ordering from this store again.

I have the Vitamins D, multi and B12. The packages don't tell you if you can use them all at the same time, like in the same 8 hour window.

I was just cleared today for full liquids. I noticed it's harder to get in the fluids & rote insurance & I could only eat a few bites of food throughout the day. Logic tells me this makes sense as they are more dense foods but is the normal and how long does it last, I'm already struggling to meet my goals. This I did not expect, nor was I prepared for.....

I had surgery 1 week ago. The pain in the chest I also experienced s well as hiccups. I started using a straw and it all went away. I think the sips were causing me to take in air with the liquids and causing the pain, with a straw I don't take in as much air and no more pain or hiccups.

I was in your boat too. I gained the weight to be told my employer didn't cover any WLS, so that made me private pay. The extra weight 15 pounds caused me to have high blood pressure & my knees hurt from the extra weight, asthma got worse, AND I had to lose the extra weight too. Water is VERY heavy, if you can get 2 gallons in you & weight in, you will have 10 pounds easily. BTW. I had surgery 1 week ago. So far, so good.

I wish we could get a clothing exchange going at the local support groups. If it no longer fits then I'd be happy to donate it to someone who is going through the weight loss process with me.

I was sleeved Monday, using leg compression machine that I got from surgeons office. Walking helps with legs so you don't get a clot & taking Miralax daily will help with the BM. Remember the liquid phase is the most difficult as your not "eating" solids that help you have good BM.

I'm on Clear liquids until Tuesday- so I can't have Premier Protein shakes yet, but they are my go to- Look out Tuesday!!!!

Yep, ate at my 2 favorite restaurants and then preoperative diet started. I did real well except now after Mondays surgery, I can't get enough Clear liquids or Protein in me.. AND these damned hiccups!!!!

Use a pillow to brace against your stomach, it helps. I couldn't lay on my back until 3rd day after surgery.

I'm in the same boat. I got some of the same comments about WLS being dramatic. I stopped telling anyone about this then. My immediate family knows & no one else.
