April 3rd surgery approved
I attended all the meetings and appointments. I couldn't lose the weight that they wanted but as soon as quit from being discouraged I lost the weight and some. It was frustrating to change everything and not lose weight but the good thing is my dog did. Lol

April 3rd surgery approved
In Mexico with Dr. Illan. I tried jumping through the hoops with my insurance but I couldn't jump higher enough. Became very discouraged and after alot of research decided to go with Dr Illan.

Scheduling
My experience...I have insurance and the hospital I chose required me to jump through so many hoops. I did everything asked of me. After of months of struggle to lose the required weight. Once I gave up I finally lost the required weight and then some. I contacted bill with Dr Illan after lots of research. I have a date for my surgery and have no desire to go back to the hospital I was going to have it originally as I never got a date just told I have to lose weight to have the surgery. With Dr Illan I got to choose the date I wanted. They have answered every question I have. I'm happy with my choice. I would say getting my date took less than 2 weeks.

Looking for support and tips. No juices no soda Small meals I bought a baby plate and the silverware to eat from 20 minute meals I walk .5 miles twice daily on my days off. As a nurse I don't walk on the days I work. Increased my Water intake. Very rarely do I eat prepackaged foods If I don't eat I lose the weight but that's not healthy. What can I do? HW to date is 275. ???? Feeling like I've failed and I never had a chance. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App

I have a nutrition appointment next Thursday. My current weight loss according to my scale is 10 lbs down. I'm hoping to keep the weight off for my appointment. I am a freaking yo-yo. Weight up weight down. Has anyone been denied surgery because they can't keep the weight off? I have been searching post about this and for pre surgery weight loss. I have noticed my weight goes up when I work 4 12 hour shifts together. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App

Looking for support
Like you I'm trying to get the weight off and finished all the requirements. I'm waiting for a date of surgery. I have found that walking my dog 3 times a day has helped me get moving. Mr Homer has been losing weight which he needed to do and I am down 7 lbs. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
