If I needed to lose 10 quickly I would cut out all white foods (bread, rice, potatoes... Starches AND SUGAR). Eat Protein and green vegetables. I just lost 5.5 pounds in 7 days. I didn't count calories, I didn't limit portions and I was not hungry. If I was I had some cheese or green Beans or a couple of pieces of bacon. Today I start week two. I have 7 pounds to go.That's alot in 2 weeks. Yikes. I hope that doesn't happen to me. I still have to get my CPAP then an EGD, psych evaluation and 2 more months of supervised weight loss classes. I was told last month that I needed to lose 12.5 lbs. I've lost 4 lbs but it's been hard. I've been eating more Protein, watching the carbs and portion size and walking/jogging 1.5 miles 4 days a week. I feel like I can tell a difference in my size but the weight is slow to move. Normally this would be fine but I'm worried about losing the weight quickly enough. I guess I have 2 months so as long as I can continue to lose about a lb a week I'll be ok. Thinking of joining a gym to add weight training. Good luck.

I'm saying I have it for hospital. I've had it for 15 years and never used it. The office I was working with isn't medicare approved or contracted or whatever.

Trying not to stress.
I had my pre-op yesterday and it was all systems go for December. Today they tell me they must drop me as a client because I have Medicare as a secondary insurance carrier.
Has anyone else run into this?
What did it take to get into another program/surgeon?

You says "eggs" how much did you have and how were they prepared?Today was my first day of purée foods and I ate some scrambled eggs and now I'm miserable. I feel like I need to vomit. Anybody else have an experience like this?

My surgeon gave me scripts for nausea to fill before surgery with plenty of refills. Since I know anesthesia makes me vomit he loaded me up.

I had a traumatic fall 2 years ago and shattered my humorous. About 3-6 months post-op I had significant hair loss. I expect I'll experience the same. Good news is that it does come back eventually.

Every step I think they are going to say no. I'm usually very optimistic. I think I'm Feeling as if I'm At their mercy and have little control over the process. Just call me a control freak lol.I know for me my emotions kicked in then because that's when it became real. Best wishes.

I think I just keep thinking I'll fail top pass some arbitrary test. It went well. Just meed all test results in and they will give me my date. They don't seem anywhere near as concerned as I do.Why so nervous? Or is it excitement? ????

Where are you Finding Unjury? Not seeing it on Amazon.unjury also has a "starter kit" that includes samples of 5 different flavors (2 packs of each flavor) for about $20. The chicken Soup flavor is in there. It also has a shaker bottle and a thermometer to help you keep from overheating the chicken Soup one.
I haven't gotten mine yet, but it's on the way. I'm kind of skeeved out by the idea of a warm Protein shake, so I'm interested to try the chicken one too.
