On Monday I saw my psychiatrist and he really pressured me to investigate a non-surgical option. Really didn't listen to how I came to this decision and why. The whole experience left me deflated. Today I saw my PCP and it was a completely different experience. She was so happy for me. She said she knows how hard I work to keep my diabetes under tight control and that with my other health issues this is a very sound decision.
