    Costs resulting from WLS

If you ladies haven't tried LuLaRoe clothes you might want to look into. They are super comfy (think pajamas), stylish, versital, reasonably priced and you can wear one size for quite awhile as you shrink. CW 227 5'5" 61yrs

    Pre-op Testing and Insurance

Oh how I envy you! Best wishes for a surgery date SOON. CW 227 5'5" 61yrs
  5. Thank you. I love broths and soups and I could easily cook for my son and husband (who eat anything that appears in front of them) and reserve some tiny containers of broths and puree soups from our regular meals. I'm on it! CW 227 5'5" 61yrs
  6. I had to laugh at that picture. I'm not scheduled till December, but I'm already trying to figure out what cupboard I can claim as MINE! CW 227 5'5" 61yrs

    Scared of being denied....

I'm worrying too about being denied for some obscure reason however all the testing is what's really bothering me in these beginning stages. I'm 61, my BMI is 36.9, I have diabetes, sleep apnea, high BP and cholesterol and a few other things that qualify me. My worry is really irrational I know. I keep pulling back my hopefulness and excitement for fear that one of the tests will disqualify me. Super irrational since 14 months ago I had major surgery for a shattered humorous which I came through with flying colors. Just 2 months ago I was put under for dental work and everything was fine. I just wonder if all my anxiety is at a deeper psychological level... Like I somehow don't deserve to be thin, healthy and happy. Thoughts? CW 227 5'5" 61yrs

    Shakes!?!?

Does anyone use Pure Protein? I found it at costco and picked up a couple to sample. They also have a Kirkland brand Protein Bar that I got to try. I'm pre-op so just testing products for taste and texture. All comments welcome! CW 227 5'5" 61yrs

    Ashamed

The only people who know my plan now are the only ones who are ever likely to know. I am not ashamed of my decision, but I don't suffer fools well and I know that about myself. Due to my career I know thousands of people. So rather than potentially pissing off a few thousand or so with a very direct "it's none of your damn business" I'm going with the truth "I'm working very hard with my doctor to be a healthier person." 13. I had my consultation appointment last month and found out my insurance would cover the sleeve procedure for me. Yeah me. My lowest weight in the last 15 years was 198...for about 5 minutes. I usually bounce between 225 and 250. I seem to be able to follow any program and lose, but gain it back. I hear of so many people dying in their sixties and I don't want to be one of them, so here I am! My next appointment will be with the weight loss psychologist. Is anyone willing to share with me what that experience was like? Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App
