I had my surgery on a Monday and returned to work the following Monday. I also have a desk job, and thought I would be fine. I wish that I would have taken 2 weeks off. Best of luck to you!

Your weight right now is not accurate. You are swollen and were pumped with tons of fluids. Stick with your plan - you didn't do this for nothing! Hang in there!
