That sounds terrible...I am pre-op surgery date, 11/14/16 so I am in need of more info on your situation...I'm thinking I'll only take 2 weeks off but it sounds like you are struggling, hoping for better days for you, keep pushing forward and update on your status. good luck. I would take off longer than 2 weeks it's really an adjustment notime about the pain Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using the BariatricPal App I'm limited on my benefit time at work so I was hoping to take 2 weeks off without anyone knowing I'm having surgery...HR isn't very professional nor are most of my colleagues so I'd rather be private ...at the most I could take 3 weeks but it would deplete my hours... I am...barely scheduled surgery last Thursday so I'm excited, nervous and still second guessing myself.. I'm dreading any "problems"...but I'm ready been waiting for this...I've tried it all and never can get under 200...so my date is 11/14/16 and I'm thinking I'll take 2 weeks off only, my vacation time is limited and I certainly don't want my work people to know...too gossipy. GI to ER...my friend had the sleeve and 3rd week she was still unable to swallow ...nausea,pain and she was dehydrated...went to ER and severe swelling causing blockage to small intestine ...needed surgery so please go in and check...don't wait. I don't want to tell anyone at work, those judgmental stares of "taking the easy way out"...I just don't want to deal with the gossip that is sure to spread ...it is my health, my privacy and my way.
