There are several ppl that don't lose much weight the first few weeks then drop some weight for a month then stop again. U just have to stick to your tools. U can do this. STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE!!! Peace

Your not the only one that has had those want this ,want that ! Just call your coordinator at the hospital and tell them what happened. You have to be honest with them. Your life may depend on this. They will tell u what to do. I had to call myself today. Over eating celery

OK heavenly brown eyes I see you are from Salisbury . Right across the bay bridge. My surgery is scheduled for February 22 one week away. At Johns Hopkins Bayview. I started my pre-op diet last Tuesday and I have lost 17 pounds in one week. Very excited. God's blessings KAY

I ate a couple pieces of celery today because I was really munchy and I looked on line and I said no celery before surgery. So I called the coordinator of the hospital and she told me no more celery but I would be OK for surgery. She said surgery did not break down really well in your stomach. So no more celery for me. But I did fine that Dannon yogurt 80 cal yogurt's were the bomb. banana cream excellent, strawberry cheesecake was great haven't tried much more. They are 12 g of Protein and 8 to 9 g of carbs

My primary doctor recommended me to a nutrition is at the hospital. I was told by a person at my support group that they went through their doctor and when it came time to be approved they would not approve it because they did not go through a nutritionist

If you tell the psychiatrist or psychologist which ever one you see that you are having a problem as such as binge eating and eat while you're having any problems. They will send you to Therapy before they will do surgery on you. So you better not say anything like that when you go there

Hello AB2B I am scheduled for my surgery on February 22 I am very excited because it seems like it was moved up a little better fast for me but however I have been in the process to get this done since last July. After successful meetings and Endoscopic and colonoscopy and all kinds of things like that I started my two week pre-op diet last week and I am happy to say that I have lost 17 pounds yippee. Unfortunately I gain weight during the process to get me thus far

Welcome harold1976 I have my last nutritionist appt on 26 the and then I should have surgery by march. Let me know how that liquid diet goes for you can you tell me what you're going to be drinking or eating for the next two weeks?

These are great. My dannon faves are banana cream and strawberry cheesecake. I believe they've saved me in the past week from going off LOL
