  10. This is a funny one.(sorry for being so long) I work in a plant. I had been researching and went to orientation and saw a Dr. Oz show and he was talking about it. One of the girls in the front off all of sudden was missing a week and I asked the plant manager had he talked to her. He said he would call. Ok, the second week he asked me. I said no. Another coworker ask where was and the next week she was back. Ok, I was looking at her and she looked like she was losing weight fast. She had asked me earlier about smoothies. I gave her the book I had and that was it. I started see her melt before my eyes. It hit me She had that surgery! I didn't say anything to her because it was her business. Well, Dr. Oz said you can be back to work in two. She was losing weight and she did the liquid diet Before when she asked for the smoothies. Ok, so we were talking and I told her I was researching the surgery and she then told me she had it and she was doing great and if I get it don't let anybody talk me out of it. She went on to say it was the best thing she has done for herself ever. So now she knows I am having the surgery. She then tells me the plant manager knows and the head of HR. So I shared to the plant manager I was getting it. I told this guy I use to date about it (he works with me) he was a little too happy. ???? (you'll never get another chance) I also told my mom and my two boys because they will have to help with hospital drop off and pick up. My boyfriend doesn't know my date is September 20th, but he knows I want it. His ex girlfriend had the surgery and cheated on him when she lost all the weight so he see the surgery as a bad thing. I tell him she was cheating before that. My ex husband had a saying," you gotta let a hoe be hoe". So, I lost 50 pounds a couple of years ago and then I hurt my knee and got sick, with asmtha and gained it all back. Just got my knee surgery last week and sleeve surgery in a couple of weeks. When I go back to work I will have had the surgery and people know about my knee surgery, but no the WLS. People will just think I had knee surgery and was taking off weight because of that and finally got the diet right. I really don't care but I feel it's my business and stay out of it. 19. Hi Djmohr, I've never heard of anyone that has the arm surgery. I'm thinking I will have to have it done because I have big arm and I know it will be a lot of skin. How was it? Was it a lot of money if you don't mind me asking? Are the scars visible? I have my surgery on Sept 20th. Looking forward to it. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App
  20. Saria, I'm feeling the same way but for my potatoe chips. I'm not a sweet eater but the holidays has always been centered around food with me cooking. I guess I will be more healthier options come now on. My surgery is September 20th and I'm scared and excited about it. I'm reading a lot and asking a lot of questions. I do feel that no matter how many questions I have it will always be one I didn't ask. I pray everything goes well and God will keep me in good health. Good luck with your surgery. I have a couple at my job as well and I almost hit one one time. She got scared and backed of a bit, but not much. You can only control what you do and when you do the right thing God always have your back. I have my surgery on Sept. 20th. You inspire me. Keep up the good work.
