I was also sleeved on the 27th. Gas pain, Water retention from IV fluids and general swelling from the surgery are really awful but each day it gets better. The warm drinks of chicken broth are awesome and today I drank 2-11oz Protein shakes divided into 4 meals. You can do it Hun! The gas x strips are helpful as well as a warm soak in the tub. So here I go....started my pre op diet today. Doing very well except for some awfully funny brain fog! My gastric sleeve surgery is all set for October 27th in TJ with Dr. Illan. I'm so excited and ready. I live in Houston Texas. Anyone else close to me? Even though I have a ton of friends and supportive gf, I could use a support partner that is going through the same things.
