You're right, dating and not being serious to one person is all about a numbers GAME. Finding love is not about having a backup plan. My husband proposed to me after we were together only one month. 11 months later we got married. 4 years later, we still have a fantastic marriage because we are 100% committed to each other and have been that way since day one. You can hide your profile so ppl can't see it and message you. That way you can focus on her without distraction. But, I think, if you like her and you want to see where it goes, you don't need the profile anymore, right? If it doesn't work out, just make a new one. I am a little worried about the pre and post op liquid phases. I know my hubby can fend for himself, but my 2 year old needs heathy meals prepared and my hubby can only cook the following: fried eggs, grilled cheese and chicken nugget. Oh and KD. Just got an email back from the nurse that I saw last week. New surgery date of October 3, 2016!!! So happy right now. Optifast should start on Sept 12 (I have to do 3 weeks) and I have a preadmission appoint on sept 13!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

That's ok. Just having someone to share with, besides my hubby, is a nice feeling. I haven't really told anyone else what's going on. I've been waiting to get my surgery date. I left a message for the program manager I've been dealing with today. And I sent an email to the nurse who saw me last week. I'm considering emailing the surgeon who saw me and ordered the band be deflated, but don't want to push to many buttons. Will wait and see if one of the ladies will get back to me first. Had my surgery consult today. Surgery set for January 27, 2017 My clinic is backed up and right now that's the date. I tried to stress how horrible my band is (daily vomiting and pain) but they just don't seem to get it!! I can't believe they don't save surgery spots for urgent causes like mine I'm considering going to the Patient Relations department of the hospital if I don't hear anything new better then January over the next week. Hi Ladies, I'm in Peterborough and having surgery in Toronto. I've completed all the required appointments and meet the surgeon tomorrow to get my surgery date!!! I'm very nervous because this will actually be a reversion surgery. I paid out of pocket in 2011 for a lap band. Did really well, then it slipped out of position while I was pregnant in 2014 and by then the company had went bankrupt and I had no where to go. Since slipped band, pregnancy and looking after an infant I've gain all the weight back (80lbs). Will let you know how it goes tomorrow.
