  1. I think one of the nicest things you can do for your surgeon and their team is to write a glowing online review........the gift that keeps on giving ;-) I also sent a beautiful card to my surgeon and his staff. They were wonderful.

  2. I'm a Realtor in Northern California. I strongly encourage all my buyers to get a Home Inspection (about $475+ depending on size of house, location, etc), a Pest Inspection (about $275+ depending on size of house, location, etc), if the house has septic or well I would strongly recommend having those inspected as well. I always, always gift my buyers a comprehensive home warranty at the time they purchase the house.

    Wishing you the perfect home!!

  3. I'm 4 months post op and struggling with meals. While I eat chicken/fish/pork/beef/turkey it doesn't sit very well and I can only get down a few small bites. I've started a bad habit of supplementing with crackers because they go down so easy......even though I know they offer no Protein, not much in the way of nourishment are a bad substitute for Protein.

Anyone have any suggestions for little mini-meals that are high in protein? I'm really drawn towards the "creamy things" like Soups and casserole type dishes but know they are high in calories and typically low in protein.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

  4. I had my surgery on 8/17/16 in Mexicali and I've lost almost 50 pounds........but I've read other posts where others have lost much more - dogmom 1204 lost 60 pounds in 2 months (very awesome). I usually just lose a little bit each week but I'm happy to lose more slowly.......as long as I lose. It's such an individual journey and we're all so different. I think you're doing really well especially since your surgery was so recent.

  5. I'm 4 months post-op and have been on this forum from the beginning. I've found it helpful to know there is more than one way to do everything. I think the one point that seems to be clear is that everyone has their own, individual journey.........we each need to find our way.......find what works work us. I have found everyone to be respectful, polite and friendly. I learn something from every person who chooses to post information about their journey.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season.......however you choose to Celebrate
