I had my gall bladder removed 3 years ago. It was an outpatient surgery. The air inside my body from the surgery was the worst part, but subsided the first day. I took two weeks off of work but was fine after one week. Everyone is different, but I hope yours goes just as smoothly.

I am Monday too. I had my gall bladder removed a few years ago. The worst part for me was coming out of anesthesia. Evidently there can be a lot of air still in your body. But it didn't last that long and recovery was pretty quick. Hoping for a good experience this time as well. Good Luck!

Just got sleeved on Monday. Dr. Gandsas was my surgeon. I like the program at AAMC and felt prepared (as much as possible) going into the surgery.
