Thank you sdell....hang in there..I will be very honest..the first 6-8 weeks I thought I had made the biggest mistake of my life...but that is just a phase..and it will pass and you will be so happy you took that step. It's a tough road..but a well worth it road in the end. I am about 20 lbs from my goal and can actually feel like I can grasp the end in sight. If you have any questions let me know. I will help answer anything I can. Hang in there and good luck. You will do great. One of the hardest part is getting up the courage to actually get it done. Good Luck.

I have hit one of my goals..I am in a size 14!!!!!!!!!! It's official..I bought size 14...yes I did and I didn't even have to lay down to put them on. WOW I can't believe it.

I have a 4 cc band and have had two fills...2cc's is what I am at right now. I do PB frequently if I eat to fast...so I have to slow it down.

Well I have found that I can't eat after 7...or I don't lose..and that the more I eat the better I lose..meaning small snacks here and there...When I don't eat my body goes into starvation mode and I don't lose...and actually can end up gaining after I eat....I am trying to drink plenty of fluids. I wish I could say I am excerising..but that would be a lie. Other then horseback riding and going to and from my kids sporting events thats the extent of my work outs. My goal is to be at 175 by my 2 yr anniversary.

THANK YOU I am so excited..it's been months trying and it FINALLY happened. I was 199 my senior yr in highschool....so it's been a long long time.

Ah thank you...had to change something since my weight hasn't been changing..thought maybe it would give me a boost to get started again. I am making my 2nd fill appt now that the new year is here...hopefully that will jumpstart it because I am eating way to much and the hunger is back..my only saivng grace is that I haven't been gaining any weight...

Well yes I can relate..I did have weightloss in the beginning, but not drastic as some had had. I had my first fill about 7 months after I was banded. I have the smaller band, so it could just be your actual band size that would require you to have more fills. I have the 4 cc band and my friend who has had numerous bands has the 10cc band. Talk to your dr. I am going to get another fill because I am eating way more then I need to and I know I need it. Good luck and thank you ..I was hoping to be at goal in one year, but had some set backs and other nonrelated surgery that put me out of commission for about 2 months...so at this point if this was as good as it got, I would still be happy that I did it. Hang in there.

Yes just one fill....I so need to go back and will after the holiday's...have needed to for months...have like a 1-2 lb loss in months is all...

Great job on the weightloss. I see you were banded in Weatherford, TX I live in Paradise which isn't to far from there. Good luck and great job.

Hi there. I just wanted to say you look great. I also have twins..mine are girls but they are 7. They were born at 32 wks. and spent 6 weeks in the NICU. They are thriving little 7 yr olds now..you would never know they weren't term. I was banded June of 08 and have currently lost 50lbs.....keep up your great work. You look great.

Hi there. How are you doing? R u feeling okay now? Are things going good for you? Have you lost any weight and how is the band working for you? I went back for my first fill and will see how it goes. I actually went to Dr. Carter in Arlington and I like him. He did it under Flouro and it cost $300. Let me know how you are when you get time.

You look amazing..and I can't wait until I can too show off the new ME. I would like to add you to my friends. I am in TX to but in Wise Cty. I will be going to MX for my band? Where did you get yours. Is there anything you wish you would have known prior to getting banded that nobody told you? Or something you needed or watned at the hospital that you wish you had? It is so encouraging to see your progress and know that there is hope for us after all. Thanks and you lood FABULOUS.

May I ask where in Plano you had the band and were you self pay?

I am interested in your opinion of Dr. Jose Rodriguez at the Angeles hospital in Juarez?
