  1. I was sleeved on 8/25, discharged on 8/26. I only have pain when I try to twist my body. My JP drain is out and I am tolerating my full liquids. I'm just ready for some scrambled eggs. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  2. I want to try that. I'm alternating between Premier and Atkins. Do you have a nutritional label? How much sugar does it have? Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  3. I love it. Sometimes I add salsa to it. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  4. To answer your last question, my sleeve instructions let me advance to full liquids after discharge from hospital. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  5. I'm on Pepcid complete OTC since surgery. My doc said to take it for 3 months. I never had issues with reflux. He said he wants to decrease the acid by the staple line. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  6. Thank you for posting this! Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  7. I am post op day 5, healing great and tolerating fluids well. My husband has been helping and mixing my crystal light for the last 3 days. I just now noticed that the package says that it has caffeine in it. I looked it up and peach mango has 25mg of caffeine! I am so upset because I have been drinking it for 3 days. I plan to call my MD in the morning. I just hope this did not cause any issues. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  8. Dr Nicholson in Plano or Dr Westmoreland in Dallas. Love them both. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  9. I can't help it. I weigh myself daily. If I didn't, I would be thinking about it all day. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  10. You look amazing! Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  11. I took off for 10 days. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  12. How much it will hurt to move. I'm 4 days post op. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  13. I had the surgery on the same date and can't start the puréed stage until 9/16. Please stay on full liquids until you contact your surgeon. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  14. food spending has increased. We are a family of 5, and we are still buying all the "normal" groceries for the kids and husband. Now we are adding my premier shakes (not cheap), broths, yogurts and Vitamins. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  15. Had sleeve done on 8/25. Incisions are painful when I move. JP drain will stay in until Tuesday. I'm ready to feel like myself again. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  16. I could have written this. My surgery is on Thursday and the only fear I have is a serious complication during surgery that causes me not to wake up. I am not afraid of post op complications because I know most of those are up to me and my compliance. Once I am awoke, I know I made it. I have young kids that I need to be there for. This will be my first surgery. Good Luck!
  17. You look great! Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
  18. Hi Cameron1209. My doctor is Westmoreland. I'll have my surgery at Baylor Dallas. I live in Plano and have heard that Nicholson is great. My insurance did not cover him. Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. I am only one person.
